Recently restored throughout, this 1906 house with breathtaking views has a beautiful history including being the local midwivery for many years. Complete new interior makes it feel like a brand new house, but the character shines through.
Approximately 1000 square feet of living space with a front deck, side patio in a cedar grove and back deck off the grand vista sun room. The jetted tube has a large window looking out to the ocean and mountains. The house is finished with quality that you would use in your own home. The furnishings boast a handmade cedar master bed (queen) and local Westcoast art throughout.
The views are better than beachfront with wildlife throughout the nationally protected wildlife sanctuary that is below the house. The the house was refinished with a multitude of large windows that boast views that include the river estuary, beaches, ocean, plus distant islands and the Sunshine Coast mountains.
A short walk to a secluded beach, the river, or 3 minute drive to the main sandy Qualicum Beach. A short 5 minute drive into downtown Qualicum. There are 6 golf courses within 30 minutes of the house. Great mountain climbing locally on Mount Arrowsmith. Horne Lake Caves provide more outdoor adventures 15 minutes north.
Take a day trip or overnight out to the West Coast and Pacific Rim National Park with Long Beach and the other beaches around Tofino. This magical area of the world should be explored while enjoying the comforts of home.
