Grayton Beach Condo - Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the covered porch of our top west end unit at Grayton Beach Villas. The small complex of only six units was recently updated and painted. New mattresses, flat screen HDTV, 2 additional TV's in bedrooms and wireless internet. Since we spend a great deal of time there it has a completely stocked kitchen. Everything included to make your stay worry-free and comfortable. 2 houses between you and the beach with water views from inside and out. Grayton Beach is consistently named one of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in the U.S. The rare dune lakes along 30-A provide great opportunities for observing wildlife, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc.
You can see the famous Red Bar from the back porch, which is furnished with 2 large rockers and a bar height dining table. Porch accessed from living room and master bedroom. Front porch has room for storing chairs, rafts, etc. Uncrowded beach is steps away with plenty of space to spread out. Surrounded by Grayton Beach State Park. 18 miles of paved bike paths with bike rentals easily available for delivery and pick-up. Close to so many fabulous restaurants and great shopping. We provide a notebook with state park hiking trails, area maps and entertainment, deep sea fishing, golf, restaurant menus, etc. Less than 5 minutes to Seaside and Watercolor, 15 minutes to SanDestin. Beach access is 50 feet away and no roads to cross. Heaven on earth!

Why the Owner Chose Grayton Beach
GBV #201 is truly our second home. From the first time we drove into Grayton we knew that's where we wanted to be eventually. We've traveled a good bit and you won't find a more beautiful beach anywhere. It's quiet but close to everything.

We live in Marietta, GA and have been married 33 years. Sid is a civil engineer and I work part-time in his office. Our oldest, a daughter, is in law school at FSU and our youngest, a son, is already an attorney in Dothan, AL. We have been vacationing in the Panhandle all our lives and are thrilled that we now have a place here in Grayton.

This was our first stay in Grayton Beach. We usually stay somewhere in Destin and drive over for a daily visit. My girls wanted to come to the beach for winter instead of our usual summer trip. I found this place on the internet and contacted Sid and Marla. Luckily, Christmas week was available. We arrived on Dec 23 (Fri) and checked the place out upon arrival. I was amazed at how every little detail was provided for. Everything is new and clean. I called Marla to let her know we had arrived. She was very nice, even when I complained that the refrigerator was empty upon arrival (just kidding). I told her how surprised I was to find all the necessities of home ready to go, except the food. We had a blast. The weather was great except for one rainy, stormy night, but who doesn't love a thunderstorm in the winter? We went to the Red Bar a couple or three times....we drove even though it's a 2 minute walk away. Goatfeathers was great as usual...steak/lobster tail special was more than you could eat. May have been because the fried dill pickles and the spinach-crabmeat appetizers were huge. Hibiscus for breakfast. If I win the the lottery, I would live here. Back to the condo...this place is clean, modern, and has everything you'll need... blender, coffee pot, coffee mugs, glasses of all kinds, pots/pans, dishes, utensils, satellite tv, dvds, books, games..... you'll be amazed at what Sid and Marla thought of for your convenience. (Just bring your own food . . LOL!) I like the personal photos around the place...it reminds you that you are a guest in someones house. There's a boardwalk to the beach close by. It was very relaxing to sit on the porch, listening to the waves crash on the beach. We will have to come back here again, next time in the summer! There's a shower at the bottom of the condo to wash the sand off your feet before entering the condo. We didn't need it this time it's a good feature. Also, I hate being in a condo with someone above me with 'heavy feet' walking around. This place is on the 2nd floor so you don't have that problem, and it's at the top of the stairs so you don't have far to tote your stuff. We will for sure stay here next time we come for a summer visit!

Most people that come over from Destin never go back. Also, most people don't ever discover how wonderful it is along 30-A during the quiet months. About to have the interior freshly painted and a new sofa in the next couple of months. WE also have owned a condo with another unit above and said it would never happen again. That's why we were so thrilled when the 2nd floor west end unit became available. Very rarely do one of these units come on the market at all. There are still a couple of original owners.

At risk of sharing a special secret, this is a very accomodating and comfortable place to stay. The location is JUST RIGHT, nearby in sight to walk to Red Bar and Shorty's, and SHORT walk thru path to beach front. The place was well supplied with all needs, the owner's are super accomodating and make every effort with hospitality beyond expectations ! A must to visit again! One of the best places on earth!

Condo Owner is very nice, genuine and sincere. She really cares about your overall experience and has put a great amount of attention into every detail. Very clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. She has a great selection of magazines, movies and books too. The kitchen has EVERYTHING. Just bring your food and beverages. Just like being at home. Loved sitting in the Rockers, listening to the ocean. It was great having the Washer and Dryer too. This location lets you walk to everything! Very close to Shorty's and The Red Bar. My husband and I both agree, this is our new annual vacation and we can't wait to be back here again!

This was my first VRBO experience and I was thoroughly pleased. Everything met or exceeded our expectations (Two of us). We had a great and relaxing time staying here for 6 nights in the Grayton community. This condo was very clean, updated, spacious and comfortable with all the amenities anyone would need.(Including washer/dryer and beach chairs! It's on the second floor so there is no one above you. It's just a short walk down the boardwalk to the beach which is located just outside near the parking area. Love the beach.. not over crowded, white sand. Two local restaurant/bars are literally a few minutes walking distance from the condo. The Red Bar was packed every night we were there so I would recommend arriving early for dinner if you don't want to wait long. The food was excellent and some of the best made martinis I've had in a long time. Everything was as I hoped and obviously the owners (Sid and Marla) do a very good job managing their property for people to enjoy on vacation. I will definitely rent this for a week if available on my next trip to Grayton and would recommend it to any one else.

Our family so enjoyed our stay at this two bedroom condo over Christmas break. It was a great location, and we loved all the decorations and the chairs on the balcony. The owners are so great and easy to work with. We found this condo to be a great value in Grayton. We'll definitely stay again!

This unit presented beach living at its finest. We truly appreciated the owner's attention to details- can you say truly well appointed kitchen, high thread count sheets, and ample seating for family dinners? What could be considered the master is large enough for two adults and a playpen, features a king size bed, plenty of dresser and closet storage and a small bathroom with sink and shower. The additional bedroom features two twin beds (also with plenty of room for a playpen) and a generously sized bathroom with vanity and tub- a perfect kids room. The living area is a dining living room combo. While we didn't utilize them, the living area was stocked with various paperbacks for trade out, dvds and board games. The washer and dryer are accessible from the fabulous patio featuring great chairs for sniffing the salty air and a table set for dinner outside. The unit itself is in good condition and features an outdoor grilling area and shower for when you walk up from the beach. Access to the beach is fast and hassle free, even when carrying a one year old and all of his gear.

The location of this lovely well appointed condo could not be beat, The Red Bar and Shortys are a stones throw away, and there is a beach boardwalk literally at the end of the parking lot, I would recommend this to any beach seekers.

We were fortunate enough to spend a week at this wonderful location. Unfortunately, our January weather wasn't great, but the condo made up for it. Every convenience was available, and there was plenty of room!! There are tons of books and movies available - games too! The location of this condo is terrific - EASY walk to restaurants, shops, and, of course, the beach. Great place to stay!! THANKS!!
