This is a wonderful house located in the center of beautiful Leland, Michigan. Leland is 1/2 hour from Traverse City and 45 minutes from the Traverse City (Cherry Capital) Airport.
There is a main floor bedroom with a queen bed and a newly remodeled attached bath with a multiple head shower. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms: one with a queen bed and the other a large bedroom with beds for 4.
The house is just 1/2 block from Lake Michigan, where there is a wonderful mile-long white sand beach. Smaller Lake Leelanau is only a few blocks away. The house is also located just a short walk to Historic "downtown" Leland, including Fishtown, the harbor, Marina, shopping, restaurants, galleries, grocery store, library and much more.
Within a short drive are numerous adventures along one of Michigan's Scenic Byways, M-22. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, award winning wineries (more than 11), hiking, bird watching, exploring nearby villages, biking among some of the opportunities. Many of the local roads have wide shoulders or dedicated bike lanes making Leelanau County very bike friendly. There is great fishing in the Big Lake (Michigan) and the Small Lake (Leelanau). Several excellent charter boats leave from Fishtown.
