Highly sought first floor walk-up unit with steps direct from private balcony to pool area. Great for watching the older kids in the pool. Relax on the balcony, have some coffee and "listen" to the morning come alive as the sun rises over the ocean! Bright and beachy decor inside with comfortable furniture and beds. Kitchen is fully equipped, laundry off entry with full size stack washer-dryer.
Only 1/3 mile walk on the beach or sidewalks to Surfside Pier and several restaurants. Murrells Inlet with it's great restaurants just 5 miles south. Go five miles north and find the new Market Common at the old Air Force Base property and step into another world of great restaurants like Tommy Bahamas and PF Changs or visit Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant for great brew and eats! Find shops like Ann Taylor, Chicos, Pottery Barn, William Sonoma and many more. Mom can shop while the kids go to the Grand 13 Movie Theater, with ultra comfy seating, plus the ice cream and surf shops! Free concerts in the park occur regularly as well as fireworks and other events. You will find all of the schedules in the unit. There is also a very modern Piggly Wiggly there as well and much more. Just a little further north is the Coastal Grand Mall which also sports a great movie theater complex and a variety of well known store fronts. Another few minutes takes you to Broadway at the Beach which has a variety of venues including Imax Theater and Ripley's Aquarium amidst a wide selection of restaurants and shops. Celebrity Square is the nightlife club section for you party people. There are great live theaters like the Carolina Opry (not all country and our favorite) and Celebrations which is less than a mile from the unit. A water park is just a mile away!
Hanging out on the beach or the pool works as well! Play some games from the cabinet, order pizza or Chinese or throw some burgers on the grill and just chill. Play bean-bag toss after dinner. Whatever you choose you won't be disappointed.
Life is good at the beach!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit! We have been vacationing in Surfside for over 15 years and this was the first year we have stayed in this particular unit. It is by far the best unit in this complex! The unit is ideally located on the first floor with direct access to the pool from your oceanfront balcony. The condo is furnished exactly as shown in the pictures and was stocked with everything we could ever imagine needing. From the kitchen to the Laundry Room to the Bathrooms and Bedrooms, we had everything we needed and more. The beds were very very comfortable. We actually slept better in this condo than we do at home! We enjoyed having the extra towels that were included. We brought our own but you can always use an extra beach towel! ;) The storage room below the unit had everything you would need at the beach.. umbrella, chairs, toys, sandbuckets, games, etc... We spent our days on the beach and our evenings relaxing in the condo and enjoying good seafood in Surfside and Murrels Inlet. We enjoyed River City Cafe, Bubbas, Crabby Mikes, Russells, Rioz, and PF Changs. Hurricane Irene was making her way to the east coast as we were leaving and the owner called us to make sure we had enjoyed our stay and we were not being affected by the hurricane. He was very nice and we are very appreciative of the exceptional hospitality! We look forward to returning in the future!

This unit was absolutely wonderful. Our family enjoyed the stay at Dolphin Cay. The photos show this unit exactly as it is. It was very clean and had everything you can possibly need in the unit. Owner was very helpful with all questions we had and responded quickly to all inquiries. I would definitly recommend this property to everyone, it is a great property with a wonderful pool on the beach and the best views. I also love that it is in a wonderful neighborhood that is not busy with traffic or anything. GREAT PLACE!
