We love our home in the desert and we hope you will too! We live in Portland, Oregon and enjoy our opportunities to escape the northwest gray and head to the wonderful sunshine and outdoor activities of the desert. Our home is approx. 1,800 sq. ft., with 2 king bed master suites, a den equipped with sofa bed and extra mattresses, and 3 bathrooms.
We have an ideal location within Woodhaven. We are on the interior of the development off the 7th green looking out over several fairways and mountain views. You will enjoy watching the golfers as they approach the green, and then try to sink those putts. And you can relax knowing that you are not in their “line of fire”!
The large, extended patio affords both shaded and sunny areas, so you can always find that “perfect spot”. It is equipped with a large patio table, small couch, natural gas BBQ, and even a unique orange/lemon tree!
Our condo is in the first 4-plex building next to one of the 4 pools, for quick and easy access to lounging, swimming and the Jacuzzi. Got to the pool but forgot your sunglasses? How about that cool drink? No problem, it is just a very short walk back to retrieve them.
We are avid tennis players and love our location with easy access to the tennis courts. Leif and Melanie took over full-time management of the tennis facility in 2008 and have been fantastic! Leif is an excellent teaching pro and can really help you tune up your game. Melanie will be happy to arrange court time and set up matches for you. There are 8 courts (4 lighted), and a fun, lively group of players.

Year Purchased: 2004
We live in Portland, OR and love our opportunities to escape the northwest gray and head to the wonderful sunshine and outdoor activities of the desert. We have 2 sons, and one daughter-in-law. We are expecting our first grandchildren in early 2012 - twins!! We are both still working, so are not able to spend as much time in the desert as we would like, but we are working up to it!! Until then, we are offering our condo for rent during the times that we are not able to use it ourselves. We love our home in the desert, and we hope you will too!
Why the Owner Chose Woodhaven Country Club
When we were looking for a condo to purchase, our requirements were that it be light, open, updated (so many were so worn out looking), have active tennis facilities on site, easy access to a nice pool, convenience to area restaurants & attractions, and have a nice patio to enjoy the sunshine without having to worry about being hit by golf balls. This condo has it all.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We are ideally located on the interior of Woodhaven, by the 7th green, looking out over several fairways. We love sitting on the patio and watching the golfers make their way down the course, and then try to sink those putts. We are in the first building from the pool, and making it easy to scoot back and forth if we happen to forget anything. We are also close to the tennis center, and have made many new friends there. Woodhaven has a beautiful setting for its golf practice range, looking out at San Jacinto and the surrounding mountains. We are about 10 min. from El Paseo, 25 min. from the airport, just north on Washington from the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens, within walking distance of several shops and restaurants, and within easy driving distance of all the valley restauarants, golf courses and attractions.
