"Rice Lake is part of the international Trent-Severn Waterway System and is 23 miles long and 3 miles across, containing over 20 islands". The rolling hills surrounding the area are home to many historic towns and villages where you can find antiques, original artists' works and unique shopping experiences. I must have to say you have a beautiful, well maintained cottage and thank you for renting to us. All 6 of us had a great time in the cottage and in the area. Though the weather was pretty dramatic on Sat, the winds off of the lake were incedible. However, we had dry and sunny weather most of the time. The sunset was so beautiful and my friend caught a bass Sunday morning! We had a lovely stay and thanks for the bottle of wine! It was a nice surprise. Lawrence and Keith (Property Managers) were very helpful and we had no worry or trouble staying there the whole time. We will definitely come back again, hope you will have it available. In fact my sister inquired about the 2nd week of Sept but she said it was booked. Now I understand why you have a long wait list. Thank you once again, hope everything is fine after your inspection and we'll expect the deposite cheque return shortly. Have a great summer. Regards,
