We had 24 family members stay in this Lake Lanier Lodge and it was a wonderful Splace with plenty of room for everyone. It was right on the lake and my only complaint was that it was a big hill down to the lake and not an easy hike back up to the lodge. The kids also had no beach of any kind to play at and the lakefront was pretty rocky to get into the lake. But as I said it was a wonderful home and we enjoyed our time there very much. The pool table was a big hit and the kids loved the big comfy theater room.

I was looking for a nice relaxing place to bring my entire corporate team for a planning session. I had a friend that had used this home for his team and highly recommended it. I had 3 days to pull it together and the owners were very accommodating. The location was perfect and we were there right at the beginning of the leaves changing colors. My entire team loved the setup so much that we have decided to have all our quarterly planning meetings here.

Christmas Card Ladies

We held our 10th year of Christmas cards making at this home the first weekend in Nov. This is our favorite house out of 10 years! It is excellent for a large group. The house is very spacious and the 8 ft. table was a dream come true for card making. We used the theater room every night! Only thing missing was popcorn. We had 18 ladies attend and there was plenty of room. The Lazy Boy sleeper sofas are very comfortable. We had excellent weather so the fire pit outside was used every night. All ladies have already agreed, we will be staying here for many years to come. Del is very easy to work with and very friendly. Highly recommend this house.

The house is every bit as beautiful as the pictures. My son got married October 2 and I needed to accomodate my 2 sisters and their families. We had 8 adults and 5 children under the age of 6. The house easily accomodated us. The location made it an easy trip into Atlanta for sightseeing (less than and hour) and close to the preimium outlet mall off of GA 400 (less than 20 minutes). We had a problem with one of the refrigerators and Del was very responsive and had it repaired in less than a day. The house is amazing, the location spectacular and a good time was had by all!

Everything was exactly as promised- even better than the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised by how well the kitchen was stocked with a hand mixer, griddle, and such. The house is RIGHT on the lake which makes water sports and fishing possible without getting in the car. I loved the layout of the house, everybody could go off into their own nook without appearing anti-social. The theater room provided great entertainment when it rained. I also appreciated the fact that the elderly people in our group did not have to climb stairs unless they wanted to go to the theater room. The location was secluded but only 8 min. from Sam's, Walmart, Home Depot, a mall, Chili's and more. The homeowner was a delight... Responded quickly to all of my concerns and questions. We already have plans to stay there again and again in the future. We paid cash with no problem and expect a deposit refund within the next few days. You won't be disappointed.

Heavenly

This lake house was beautiful and large. When the first of our group of eleven arrived, we literally had to call out to find one another. Every amenity was included. The kitchen had more silverware than you could count, and there seemed to be an endless supply of towels as well. The main master has a his and hers everything! Closet, toilet, shower each on opposite sides of the huge bathroom! And private. Now let's talk about the kitchen! Oh to have a kitchen like this. The spacious islands were beautifully detailed with plenty of barstools for sitting. The gas range has many burners for cooking large meals. Down stairs also has an island, microwave, fridge, ice machine, and wine fridge. Bottom line is this: If you have a large group, this home will accomodate your every need. We didn't have a boat to utilize the private dock, but we took out little fishing rods to the dock and had a grand time. So don't let the fact of not having a boat stop your show. Everyone from my nine year old neice, to my 76 year old father-in-law, with teens in between had something to do. The dining table is so incredibly large that it posed a problem for the many poker players in the house. Solution: Use the basement island. We placed a soft blanket on top the island, placed barstools on both sides, and it worked like a charm :-) We were fortunate enough to meet Del (the owner) who is a sweetheart on a motorcycle. He made certain that we had everything we needed, and found a nice little place for us to buy bait when we inquired. Del, thank you for allowing us to share memories in your beautiful home. We look forward to making this our new annual retreat. There are just too many things to touch on, just don't forget your bugspray!!

Picture Perfect!

My group of 15 were a little weary because the pictures looked too good to be true however we were thrilled on how beautiful and tranquil it was just like the pictures. No one went to bed earlier then 5 am beacuse we enjoyed the theather and billards table so much. It was one of the best vacations we have had. Mr Tanner the owner was very pleasant and when we had a little mishap (not fault of ours) he took care of it immediately. We are planning another trip for our group for next year we may very well stay here again. WE LOVED IT !!!!!!!!!!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this home. It is GORGEOUS!!! Every upgrade imaginable. I truly can't believe how accommodating this place is. As if there weren't enough private bedrooms -- each with their own natural stone, glorious bathrooms, each room had an incredibly comfortable pull-out bed, plus there were extra portable mattresses available. I can't WAIT to come back to this wonderful getaway. It's the perfect place to come with several families. Plenty of privacy while also providing several places for everyone to gather together. And I haven't even touched on half of the things I loved about this house...the dock area, the wall-hung tv's everywhere, the portable ipod speakers, the wine fridge, the pool table, etc. The list goes on and on...

Our recent family vacation at the Hulsey Lake House was one of our best gatherings since we started our family vacation tradition. The house is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It is great for large families with children!!! The lake was wonderful!! We took our boat and jet ski and 10 grandchildren, ages 5-17 and their parents. The beds are very comfortable with good sheets, lots of towels, even beach towels. The theatre room is wonderful for the kids when they are tired from the day on the water. Bring lots of movies!!! There are lots of board games to play and some good books to read. The house is set up so the adults and kids have lots of room and privacy. The kitchen has everything you need, toaster, griddle, waffle maker, etc. We loved it and will rent again.

We held my parents' 50th anniversary party here with 45 guests (18 slept in the house). The owner is very pleasant to deal with, the house is luxurious and large. We utilized both docks, the private boat ramp, the very nice theater and the kitchen. We highly recommend this location!
