Our family had a great time at the "Narrows Escape". Weather was really cooperative. The House was really nice in the upstairs and loft areas and the screened in porch was fantastic. We really got our workouts walking up and down the driveway to the boat house and lake area. The neighborhood dogs were great. The dogs lead a group from our family to the falls. Chris and Phyllis (owners) were wonderful. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and had a ball on the lake. Our grandkids loved fishing off the Boat House dock and caught a lot of Bream. It takes about 15 minutes to get from the Narrow to the main body of the lake so be patient. Overall we would definitely recommend staying at the "Narrows Escaped" and look forward to getting back there next year. The Palmer Family.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

My friends and I had a great time here. Lots of room, very spacious, clean and has all the modern features without losing any of the coziness of a cabin. We cooked so it was great to have a kitchen with all the necessities.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

My family had a wonderful time at the lake in your house. We love Lake Rabun and loved the location and layout of the house. The location is in a peaceful section of the lake in the no-wake zone, and just a short boat ride to the main part of the lake. The best parts were the lovely wrap-around porch and stereo that allows music to be played outside and inside the house. Nice touch. We also loved that it was close to Minnehaha Falls and visited there several times. This is a great place for adults and kids. We hope to return one day. Thanks!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. It is beautifully appointed, spacious, and exceeded our expectations. In addition, working with you was a pleasure. You were helpful, friendly and added much to our experience. From enjoying our morning coffee on the screen porch to watching the sunset at the boathouse, it was relaxing and fun..,just what we needed after leaping over fire at the 2010 Warrior Dash race! The house is convenient to everything: waterfalls, hiking, water activities, restaurants, stores. You provide so much in the house, you make it easy to "move in". We were particularly impressed with the kitchen - I felt like I was in my own house, with every utensil, gadget and dish we could want. Our roasted veggies, grilled pears and berry granola came out perfect! We had a wonderful time! :)Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: I'm so glad you had a good time! Remember us for the 2011 Warrier Dash!
