In a roman city with 1000 years of history, lovely furnished and comfortable duplex, 2 minutes walking distance from the center.
This very ancient town sits in a low basin along the Ouvèze river, beneath the watchful chateau on top of the Haute Ville hill on the south side of the river. The town, with its vast collection of ancient ruins, is picturesque and dynamic. During the summer season, Vaison is alive with music festivals, dance festivals and theater. The two parts of Vaison-la-Romaine are joined by a unique single-arched Roman bridge over the river, still in use after some 2000 years.
Vaison-la-Romaine is in the region of the Rhône Valley Côtes de Rhône wines, with some good vineyards in the commune.
You will enjoy the scenery of the wine valley, stopping at each cellar and have a wine tasting.
The region around is also very rich in historical sites, like the famous Pope City of Avignon, The unknown spring source of Pernes les fontaines, the troglodytes village of Les Bories, and many others.
You will be struck by the luminosity and the colors, that so many painters have immortalized, like Van Gogh, Cezane, Matisse...

The Unique Benefits of this Condo
The condo is perfectly located on the hill with a gorgeous view over the old city chateau and my neighbour's vineyard, in a quiet and well maintened complex. and it is 2 minutes walking distance from the center. No hassle in taking the car and finding a parking downtown.
It is a small condo but it has everything you need, and it feels warm and comfortable.
