The White House is the architectural jewel of the Pacific coast located beachfront on Playa Hermosa, just a little north of Santa Teresa in the Mal Pais Area, in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. (Click here for a map).
The signature home, is an architectural masterpiece with a private infinity pool. The property is next door to the up and coming Pranamar, the newest and most exclusive yoga resort in Costa Rica to open in early 2010, built and managed by the people that created the famed hotel Flor Blanca. Pranamar will have a top restaurant making fantastic food only a short stroll away.
Accommodations: The White House is a large 4 Bedroom, 2 Bath beach front estate home. The White House can accommodate comfortably up to 8 people. Should you have a larger party, you may rent out an additional Villa with the White House or the entire property. The White House has full maid service, and 24 hour security.
We built on Playa Hermosa as the name stands for, beautiful beach and is known as the most beautiful beach in Mal Pais. Playa Hermosa is home to a plethora of tidepools as well as vast expanses of soft sand. Great all level surf is just 500 steps north from The White House, north of "yellow palm". Skilled surfing is accessible directly in front of the property as well as all level wading and swimming.
You will love the coveted Playa Hermosa which provides a sense of privacy when sun bathing as the location is in the seclusion of north Santa Teresa, away from town. Lounging is fantastic both on the beach or back on the deck so you can wade in the private infinity pool while enjoying a cocktail or while starting a BBQ. You can cook up a nice meal in our chef's kitchen or you may hire our amazing private chef service to come delight your senses with their craft. If you prefer to go out on the town for food, there are a few amazing restaurants either within walking distance or a short drive away.
Whatever you decide to do on your stay you will greatly enjoy your time spent at The White House.

The picture below is right in front of The White House. The surfer you see is your White House Ambassador, Janine, whom you will be speaking and working with when booking the property. The property is owned jointly between Mr. Jordan and the Bishops who reside in LA and who both share a great love for Costa Rica.

We bought this property because this is the most beautiful beach in all of the Mal Pais region.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The windows provide so much light, until the sun goes down, we never need to turn any lights on. We have a beautiful beach right in front of the house, but what's nice is we have a great and very large tide pool area to the left and surfing for all levels not far to the right of us. One of the owners loves to cook on the grill, while the other owner fancies preparing food in the ocean front kitchen so he has a direct view of the waves.
