Dear Steven and Lisa,We just arrived back home to snowy Fairbanks, Alaska. After leaving beautiful Villa Las Palmas, we had a stopover in Seattle to visit family for a week before returning home. (Seattle served as our transition between Cabo San Lucas and Fairbanks!)First of all, when our church surprised us with this trip and showed us the website for your villa, I experienced an extreme lack of faith! Surely what I was seeing on my computer must be some kind of mistake. Maybe we were just going to share that villa with other guests. It couldn't all be just for us, could it? My husband and I really were skeptical of the whole situation until arrival. Wonderful Manuel calmed our fears immediately with his warm greeting and smile. He made us feel right at home. From Day 1, we felt like we were in our own little world there at Villa Las Palmas.My husband not only pastors a church here in Fairbanks, but he is also busy as a custom home builder. Because of this busy schedule, we were in great need of some "get away" time. There simply could not have been a better place for what we needed than your villa.Thank you for saying "Yes" to our inquiry for your villa!! I had a FABULOUS time! Such an amazing stay that Lisa came close to having a full time renter! The villa was really perfect for me, and I will bring family/friends someday. I felt extremely safe as a single female, and very lucky to be there. The house and setting are perfect! I traveled by myself for some quiet, alone time. I own a 3 bedroom time share in Cabo, 4 weeks/year on the beach. However, I do not like the noise and crowds. This was the BEST move I've made for myself. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an amzazing location, all the comfort, with privacy! Many Thanks to you :) Can't wait to get back to the Baja, it's been snowing everyday here in Vail since I got home!

Dear Lisa, Just a note to let you know how much my family enjoyed our stay at your villa in Los Cabos in December. It was perfect. We had a spectacular wedding at Fiesta and then a relaxing vacation that included catching 11 marlin weighting up to 150 lbs, a 100lb yellow fin tuna and several dolphin. My husband and son are "hooked" on the fishing and want to return. We also enjoyed the waterfront eating at Solomons (great food) and listening to local talent at the bars. Of course we took a glass bottom tour to the arch. Everthing was perfect . Hated to return to the freezing weather in D.C. last night!! Thanks again for letting us share in the use of your beautiful home! Lynn dotson

There really is no way that I can adequately express how wonderful our days at the villa were. We arrived to find Juanita with open arms to welcome us to paradise. My son and I left my daughter and my son's girlfriend to unpack while we took a taxi to rent a vehicle. We did our shopping for groceries and when we returned the chefs, Hector and Jesus, whom we had prebooked through Cabo Concierge were serving appetizers on the patio. They took the groceries and stored them away while my family and I enjoyed cocktails. They prepared a wonderful dinner...so wonderful that we booked them for 3 more nights! We also used the BBQ ourselves and took advantage of the excellent restaurants in the area. We all enjoyed having our morning coffee at the pool...no competition for lounge chairs or ideal spots! That was heaven! My son found excellent surfing just minutes away and the beach was perfect for the girls to walk for miles seeing no one but the pelicans. The privacy was so soothing. The phone and internet hookup made it so easy for us all to keep connected to the things that needed our attention back home in Canada. We were overwhelmed with the view from the rooftop and were fortunate enough to witness the full moon rise across the ocean while we sipped margaritas in the moonlight. The villa itself is charming. Being an early riser I loved watching dawn break as I showered...my shower overlooked the ocean. Sometimes it is the simplest things that bring incredible joy. I loved sitting at the massive wood dining table and looking out through the window that was covered with bouganvillea blooms. Spectacular! Our 8 days at the villa ended far too fast and then we moved to the Cabo RIU for a week for a destination wedding with several of our friends. The contrast was amazing. We waited in a long line to register, our rooms were not ready and when we did get to them they felt so small and cramped. There was too much noise and too many people around the pool and at the beach. We all missed the serenity of Villa Las Palmas. We told our friends of our experience and I think they will do a Villa holiday next time. We will certainly repeat! Thank you Lisa for giving us the opportunity to have a memorable family event. It was perfect!

We had a great stay at Villa Las Palmas!! I would highly recommend it for families. My boys are 7 & 4 and they had a blast in the pool! I write this for people with kids to let them know this is better than staying at any hotel! We rented a car so we could zoom into town. The villa has a great parking spot! Went shopping the first day and barely ever left the villa!! The kids liked having food readily available instead of always going out. My four year would nap in the house and I could watch the seven year old swim....very nice!! The grounds are well keep and very quiet :) Lisa, you have thought of everything in your villa!! My kids love all the sand toys and snorkel gear!! We will be returning and recommending it to our friends and family. Thank you for some wonderful memories!!!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Las Palmas. The house far exceeded our expectations. It's close to Cabo and San Jose but you'll find you'd rather be sitting poolside at the house or enjoying the wonderful beach. We also used the concierge service which is highly recommended. Also, Juanita was great - she brought margaritas to us each day. Overall it was a wonderful vacation for 3 couples. Thanks Lisa!! You'll be hearing from us again!! Guy

Our stay at Villas Las Palmas was fantastic. We had a party of 6 and there was more than enough room. Manny and Juanita were extremely helpful and accomodating. The beach is a very short walk away and the pool area is perfect for hanging out both during the day and at night. Downtown Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo are each only a short cab ride away. The pictures of the villa on the website really don't do it justice. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends and would love to go back soon.

Lisa, I wanted to send you a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at Villa Las Palmas. The villa and grounds were beautiful and the location was fantastic. We all agreed it was the most relaxing vacation we have had in a long time. The services provided were exceptional. Hector was very accommodating. We had to leave fairly early on Saturday morning for the airport and were unable to thank him personally. We left him a gratuity on the table with a note. The Concierge service was also fantastic. The Spa arrangements they made were so good that we arranged for a second visit at the end of the week. This was our first visit to Cabo and we look forward to returning again soon. When we return we hope that Villa Las Palmas is part of our visit. I would highly recommend your villa to others seeking a relaxing vacation in Cabo. Thanks again, Jack

We had a lovely time at VLP over New Year's Eve weekend. The house is in an incredible location, the beach is lovely and the pool area fabulous. We loved the privacy of it all (both beach and house). 5 of us stayed and had plenty of room to ourselves. Another benefit was we were close enough able to spa at Las Ventanas Al Paraiso and watch their fireworks display from the rooftop patio! We had a bonfire on the beach and truly enjoyed every moment at VLP.

We did some site-seeing and ate at a few local restaurants, but not much beach time (water still too cold for me). Thanks again for the use of VLP. My wife and I spent our 20th anniversary at Villa Las Palmas last August and had a great time! The home was very comfortable and private, with wonderful views and convenient beach access. The location made access to either one of the two towns simple (I recommend a rental car). My wife actually had a half day spa treatment at the nearby resort hotel and walked to the house down the beach. The large thatched palapa by the pool was my favorite. The hammock was perfect for siestas. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great location and complete privacy. Randy Ensey

Lisa, Thank you for making our family vacation the absolute best weve ever had! Your Villa was exceptional, and far exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, and being just outside Cabo allowed us to relax and settle into the tranquil environment. Having arranged for the conciegre service you recommended our trip could not have been better, from the moment we arrived till the time we left all our needs were met, and that's no easy task with this family! Meal preparations, chauferres, dinner reservations, ATV rides, Swimming with Dolphins, Fishing, Surfing, Deep Sea Fishing - every moment of every day was fantastic. We highly recommend your Villa, and the service that comes with it. We did quite a bit of sight seeing but honestly I would have been very content just lounging around the villa and walking the beautiful beach. We would do it again!

First off I would like to tell you that all of my family and guests had a wonderful week at Villa Las Palmas. the pictures on the web site do not due justice to the tranquil setting of the villa. This was the first time we have traveled to Cabo and was a bit concerned about the exact location of the villa. As it turned out, the villa is located within a walled complex of four homes between the highway and the sea about half way between Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabo. You do need a car. The Villa is only a mile away from two renowned Mexican beaches not to be missed ( santa maria and chilean ) The Villa is one home away from the ocean front villas and the beach is wide white and when we were there all to ourselves. The villa itself was quite nice and comfortable. We had no complaints of anything mechanical braking done or any other problems with the villa..The villa has a pool service that comes in and a daily grounds keeper/maintenance man that will help. The villa's kitchen is equipped with the dishes glasses blender microwave coffee maker We opted for the additional maid service who did all the household cleaning, dirty dishes, towels and sheets. If any clothes were left laying around, they were washed too. Cabo and Villa Las Palmas was a wonderful vacation, I showed pictures of our week at Las Palmas and everyone who saw them said that if they were there they would never leave the villa for the entire week Hope you have as much fun and relaxation as we did Jimmy Z

Hi Lisa, First of all, we had a lovely stay and loved the house. The pool is tranquil and the area safe and peaceful. THe garden is beautiful, and overall gorgeous beach and lovely time. The cleaning ladies did a great job. We even made it with dog and baby up to Todos Santos for the Garden Tour! Such fun. Thank you Lisa.

My family and extended family had a wonderful vacation in Los Cabos and especially enjoyed our stay at Villa las Palmas. Snorkling at the beach, a 3 minute walk away, was amazing, and we spent many fun hours sunning and swimming at the pool. Cabo offers great deep sea fishing, which some of us took advantage of- catching a marlin, 2 tuna and a 140 lb shark, all in one morning! We grilled the shark and tuna at the house - delicious, had a private chef - that's the life! and enjoyed meals out in both San Jose and Cabo San Lucas, as well as spa treatments at the Palmilla resort. All in all, an unforgettable experience.

We had a wonderful time at the Villa and enjoyed the service and hospitality you and your entire staff provided. We had Guillermo cook the prawns and they were wonderful - highly recommend taking advantage of someone cooking for you right there at the Villa. We had wonderful weather and great surf the entire trip - surfed Old Man's, Cerritos near Santo Tomas, Monuments, and Shipwreck's. Shipwreck's was one of the best beaches of the trip and recommend the trip to the east cape if you are up for the washboard road. We had 2 families stay at the Villa and it very kid friendly with the pool and pool toys. The kids also enjoyed playing with the waves (key point, not in the waves as the surf was pretty strong during our visit). Love your house and hope to come back and visit in the not too distant future.

Hi Lisa, Just wanted to let you know personally what a lovely time we had in Villa las Palmas and Cabo! You do have just the most blissful place there. Quiet, relaxed, sun, sea, beach (with no one on it !) We even had a bonfire on the sand one evening and cooked marshmellows! Need I say more! A couple of nights we asked the chef to cook for us and only now do I see why you were not too keen on him cooking Fajitas or something ordinary like that - he's just too good for that! On our last night he cooked the tuna, which Nicky had caught while we were deep sea fishing. First course out of it, he made Sushami(?) and then seared tuna steaks on a bed of vegetables and garlic risotto - getting hungry just thinking about it! Also he costs no more than eating out. The best restaurant we ate in was at the 'One and Only Hotel - bit expensive, but worth it. Aldo was a dream at organising and never let us down on anything. The slightest problem and he was there. We went snorkelling, deep sea fishing, riding, quad bike riding and played tennis at the new hotel nearby. You really have a good team looking after the villa for you. Hope we make it back there one day. Very best wishes,

We had a FABULOUS time. Spent hours talking laughing over coffee around the palapa each morning, walked the beach, floated in the pool, went to the "safe" beach (thanks for the umbrellas and beach towels!), went to both Cabos, San Lucas and San Jose, watched the wet bikini dancing of the college girls on a platform next to The Office on the beach, shopped until we dropped, ate wonderful meals, spent more hours around the coffee table in the living room each night, slept well and rose to do it again. One day we hired two women for massages -- one under the palapa, one in the garden beside the villa -- and we had "quiet hours" for four plus hours, with everyone lounging in their robes or whatever, writing, reading, with lovely classical music playing on your wonderful stereo system. The villa was really perfect for us. We felt extremely lucky to be there. Thanks for everything.
