We call this wonderful location, Tesoro de Rio! It means, a Treasure on the River! It is on 165 feet of the Ten Mile Creek.

This four bedroom, 2 1/2 bath duplex lives like a single family home. Approximately 2,550 square feet of living space, it is a quick stroll to the hub of Frisco, Colorado. Once inside, stroll through the backyard, you'll be in love! The home is perched above the Ten Mile Creek frontage-rushing water complemented by possibly the largest Aspen trees in Frisco! There is room for everyone to spread out. It is an ideal spot for sharing good times with friends. This home allows for a great deal of privacy.

There is a full kitchen, family room, views out to the Ten Mile Creek and Mount Royal, master suite, small loft for kids, dining area, and a split level going up to a den and one more bedroom. Downstairs are two more bedrooms and a shared full bath, small kitchen with another frig, laundry room, good sized sitting room and views again out to the backyard and Ten Mile Creek. There is plenty of room for two families to share and more. There is also a sun room for nap time off of the deck. The sun room has a queen sofa sleeper but we don't suggest sleeping there in the winter. It is a wonderful location to read a book or listen to the Ten Mile Creek or just hang out. The Ten Mile Creek is at high peak during July and August. We have a short fence between the creek and the property line. Entering the creek is not advised during high run off. Children must be monitored in the back yard at all times.

Walk to Tenmile Canyon, Frisco Marina, Frisco Historic Park Museum or the Frisco-Breckenridge, Vail Bike Trail.

    • In the winter guests can play in the snow in the backyard. There is a short fence next to the Ten Mile Creek. It is advised that you watch your children while playing in the yard at all times. The Ten Mile Creek can seem like a fast flowing river as snow melts. In summer there is kayaking and rafting available near by. Fishing is an option at times in the back yard, however during high run off it is not advised. Fishing is an option at Dillon Lake. You can shore fish or rent boats at Dillon or Frisco Marina's. Short walk to the bike trail and hiking trail. Easy access off of I70, at exit 201.

Why the Owner Chose Ten Mile Creek

My husband and I bought this wonderful location for our personal enjoyment in August 2007. This is the larger side of a duplex and it has it's own yard on 165 feet of the Ten Mile Creek. We rent it out on occasion when we aren't using it ourselves. We share our time between California and Colorado.

The Unique Benefits at this 4 Bedroom Duplex

This property is conveniently located in Frisco, Colorado off of the I70 and exit 201. It is extremely difficult to find a property for rent on the Ten Mile Creek. This place is a wonderful location for all the local activities the town has to offer in all seasons.

      If words could describe this past week, all one would need to do was to capture the "look of awe" my husband and I simultaneously shared upon multiple events and moments in this place. The music of the river was most entertaining from sunrise to sunset... no kidding! This home has absolutely been a "home away from home." We've never experienced anything like it!
