Year Purchased: 2005
Our family has 5 children ranging from 35-11. Our condo. is in the perfect location for relaxation for adults and fun everyday for children. Our young son and grandchildren love the pool, the nearby Big Kahuna Waterpark, the Goofy Golf and Go Cart Park across the street. The complex is well kept with lovely landscaping and lots of opportunities to relax by the two pools or sit on the beach. We love the conveience of numerous restaurants, as well as one by the beach side pool. Wal-Mart is across the street as well as numerous other shopping areas close by. A huge Silver Sands Outlet Mall is about 4 miles from our condo. There are many namebrand stores with Big Discounts. This condo. is perfect for our family to have a Grand Vacation.
Why the Owner Chose Sterling Shores
We looked for several years for the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach and waters of Destin. We chose Sterling Shores Unit 512 because it is Huge. There is enough space for three adult couples and their children to spread out and all have plenty of room. Each bedroom has a King size bed and a separate bath. The kitchen, dining and Great Room with Grand Views of the beach and Emerald Waters.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We love to lounge by the lagoon pool with the Mushroom Fontain where the children and our grandchildren stand and let the water drip on them. We also love to walk out to the beach and plop down on the beach all day where we can either take our lunch and drinks or walk to the Pool Side Snack Bar or The Back Porch Restaurant. Nearby is Big kahuna's Waterpark, The Track Racetrack, the Goofy Golk, Wal-Mart, tons of restaurants and all within walking distance. A pristine state park, Henderson Park, is located right on the beach about 1/4 mile from our beach. We can walk there and spend the day on the beach with over a mile of pristine sand and few visitors.

Beautiful condo with well equipt kitchen, luxury linens / bedding & furnishings, very clean. Sterling Shores is one of Destin's nicest gated resorts with extensive landscaping and too many palm trees to count! Huge lagoon pool and ocean front pool with snack bar. This was the PERFECT condo--Everything was exactly as described & pictured--Unit was clean & comfortable--The owner was a pleasure to work with!!! Pool was cool despite the near 100 degree temps we had--Very SHORT walk to beach--We will be back next year!!

We have stayed at Sterling Shores many times but this condo was by far the best we have stayed in. Very roomy and clean and nicely decorated. The owner was awesome to work with, we will definately be back! We had a wonderful time!

We had a great time this weekend with our family at Sterling Shores. The condo was very clean and roomy. The kids had plenty of room to play. We were so glad to find the pack and play and booster seat in the condo. We hope to be back soon.
Owner response:Thanks for mentioning the Pack and Play and other childrens' equipment. We found that is nice to have a highchair type seat, bouncy seat, and other things so that guest do not have to load the car with all of those things. We enjoy making our condo. user friendly. Also, Sterling Shores has childrens' and family movie nights, play activities in the day, and some night concerts and activities. All of these make this a family oriented environment.

Condo was fabulous. Better than the pictures indicated. We enjoyed the over-sized porch, and the pool was great. Sarah was great to work with. We had three families with three small children, and it was perfect.
Owner response:Thanks for mentioning the porch. That is one part of our condo. which made us fall in love with it. It is HUGE, so it is enjoyable for morning breakfast, a noon time lunch, or when you are ready to unwind and feel the breeze. You have to sit there to believe that you can actually see the pool and ocean and feel a breeze all of the time. It has lots of furniture, so several people can sit and fall into a trance. It is also great for small toddlers to play safely without fear of them being overheated in the heat of the day.

GREAT place to stay. Third time at Sterling Shores and this by far is the best condo we have stayed at. Sarah was great to work with. Her recommendations on places to eat were all excellent, especially the Cuvee Beach Bistro and Wine Bar-fantastic for a special dinner occasion. One place to add--Theo's Pizza Pub in Mirimar Beach. Kind of a hole-in-the-wall retro hippie pizza pub but EXCELLENT pizza and ice cold beer! Sarah, again thanks for a GREAT week.
Owner response:Glad to hear about the recommendations for places to go. Also, we discovered that Cuvee Beach on 98 has a happy hour everyday from 4-9 p.m. They also have 10 specials served in the bar area which are on the main menu. The bar area is child friendly, so you would not feel like you were in a bar with a child. The recommendations by these folks are excellent. It is great to get the scoop before you leave home.

The condo was beautifully decorated It truely is very large for a condo. Exactly as pictured. Owners very easy to work and communicate with. We have stayed at Sterling Shores before,when it was brand new, but this unit is "better than new". Would happily recommend this unit to anyone.

The condo was beautiful! It had beautiful artwork, beautiful furniture and fabulous beds. We enjoyed the use of two pools and loved the beautiful view of the beach from the large balcony. It was a perfect family vacation; put us down for next year!
