Lone Spruce is a 1937 original one room river cabin and in 1950 the owners added a porch, bathroom and two bedrooms with a fully equiped kitchen. Just walk down the steps to our little bridge to the Mad River which is a perfect spot for sunning and reading. Or watch the water flow by on a rock in the middle of the river lulling you to relaxation with it running water sounds. Or maybe your looking to snow ski, hike or trout fish - all of this and we are minutes away from several ski areas offering tennis and golf in the summer months.
A log of stories and adventures add to the fun of this home. Hikers to a past President's daughter have spent time enjoying the simple life here. If you're looking a feeling of peace and that homey feeling or the active outdoors experience - Lone Spruce is the place.
