We stayed at this cabin at the end of March. We wanted a central location to tour the Grand Canyon and Sedona, and Flagstaff seemed like a good option. The cabin was very cozy and well maintained. The kitchen had every piece of cookware you could imagine. We enjoyed the beautiful views and made good use of the fireplace each evening. The owners were very responsive and sent us directions and instructions prior to our arrival. They were also available to answer questions during our stay. We definitely would recommend their cabin to others.

The cabin is just wonderful! The location is great, you have easy access to everything, restaurants, downtown, sledding, ice skating etc. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were comfortable; really all the comforts of home. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. We would love to come visit and stay again! Thank you very much!

The Weber's cabin is beautiful! It is as pretty as the photos. The cabin was very clean and well supplied wtih everything we might need to cook and relax. We loved the back deck overlooking the pines. So peaceful. Listening to the wind blow through the trees . . . The front deck is lovely as well with cozy furniture to cuddle up in and read a good book or chat with family. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Strombolis is a great little neighborhood Italian restaurant on Milton, the main road into Flagstaff. Excellent food and good prices. We came up to beat the Phoenix heat for a week and did some hiking and of course a trip to the Grand Canyon. The cabin was everything we expected. We will return to the Weber's cabin.

We stayed at this property for 5 nights and it wasn't enough! Cabin is remodeled perfectly. Very clean and well maintained. Loved sitting out on the private deck mornings and evenings. Kitchen has every gadget you need to cook all your meals. We took the ski lift to the top of Snowbowl, which had spectacular views. This is only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so if this is on your "to do" list, days are limited. Drove to Sedona one day and did some hiking and site seeing. We also took the Grand Canyon railway out of Williams. This is a must especially for families with children. Lot's of fun and adequate time to take the rim trail a ways. There's plenty of hiking in the Flagstaff area and the Information center at the train station is full of ideas and brochures. You won't be disappointed in this vacation home. We hope to go back again soon, and will certainly return to this wonderful cabin. Thanks Paula and Mark!

The owners are very nice and accomodating! Loved this house!! Everything we expected and then some! The place is beautifully decorated, very warm and inviting. We had 5 in our party and everyone slept comfortably with 1 bed to spare. Cooked breakfast daily and packed out for lunch on our many outings. So much to do within 1 1/2-2 hour drive; Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, Snow Bowl, Slide Rock State Park, Walnut Canyon, Lowell Observatory, Horseback riding & more (just didn't have enough time). If you love the outdoors, like us, there's no end to the activities! A nature lovers mecca!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your home. Of all the homes we have rented thru VRBO, this is among our favorites. A great location for making day trips to the Grand Canyon! Thank you for sharing your home Paula and Mark!

My husband and I planned a last minute get-away to the Grand Canyon with two of our friends that we rarely see due to now living in different states. When looking for places to stay, it was hard to find what we were looking for which was a small quaint cabin. Somehow I managed to find this cabin (literally the day before we needed it) and fortunately it was not booked. Paula and Mark were the nicest and most accommodating people and allowed us to book at the last minute! Without them allowing us to stay at their cabin, this very special trip would have not been the same! We had a really lovely time there and it was exactly what we were looking for. Even with neighbors on both sides, the cabin is super private because of the way it sits on the property. The backyard deck faces the forest, which is really cool, especially at night when observing the stars. The overall layout of the cabin is lovely for a small group. We all made some very special memories there. Thank you for making this possible and my apologies for the short notice in booking! Again thank you, thank you, and thank you!!!!

We so loved staying in your cabin in the forest community of Kachina. There was planty of room for us and the four children and it was very comfortable. Although there are neighbours once inside or on the deck with its lovely view you felt all alone. I'd always wanted to stay in an American log cabin and now I have. The location is excellent just a short drive from Flagstaff's many attraction. The Grand Canyon was well worth the two hour drive with snow and bright blue skies. The drive down Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona is also lovely. The kids particulaly liked the Meteor Crater and Sunset Volcano aswell as eating at Galaxy Diner on Route 66 (milkshake to die for) before stargazing at Lowell Observatory. Further south at Fort Verde historical park the kids voted the ladies working there as the most friendly and helpful of the whole holdiay. We must return again someday.

Thank You Paula and Mark for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. The cabin was everything we expected and so much more! When we walked through the door it was we were coming home! The cabin is so warm and full of charm. We shared wonderful family time and had a Thanksgiving we will treasure in our memories always. You were very helpful and accommodating and made us feel right at home. The cabin is perfect for family get away, or a romantic retreat, or girls weekend away. The way the house is set up is perfect for cooking and entertaining or just hanging out. We went for a hike down the road and collected pine cones and made Christmas decorations for our Christmas tree. We sat by the fire and played cards and board games and not to mention ate a lot! It is the perfect place to go if you are wanting to reconnect and bond with the people in your life. The view from the back deck is breath taking. I cant say enough good things about this cabin. As soon as we walked into the cabin it was like taking a deep breathe of fresh air. We are planning to rent again as soon as we are able and are looking forward to it very much so. Your home is amazing! Thank You again so very much. All our Love, Laura Lee and Family

Mark and Paula: Thank ya'll so much! Everything was great...from the cozy decor to the high chair for our little one! The cabin has such great views if you just want to lounge on the large deck. The best, and most convienient, is it's location. It's a beautiful drive up to the Grand Canyon and a spectacular drive down 89 to Sedona. We've used VRBO for previous vacations and this was the first time we have recieved a call from the owners to see how our vacation went. Thanks Mark and Paula....that truly does mean a lot! Thank you!

As a party of 6 (grandparents, family of four including a 2 year old and 5 year old), this cabin suited our needs perfectly. It was clean and welcoming to arrive at. We found everything we needed for a self catering holiday. We loved the homely feel and the owner's encouragement to treat it as our home for the duration of our stay. We loved collecting our own firewood and using the open fire in the cooler evenings. The situation in a Ponderosa Pine Forest is just beautiful and the ease of accessibility to Flagstaff and surrounding areas of natural beauty (Sedona, The Grand Canyon, various Pioneer Museums and Early American Indian Settlement sites, Oak Creek Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Meteor Crater, Sunset Crater, Bearizona - drive through bear and wild animal safari new for 2010) is perfect. The owners were always accommodating in answering our questions and making arrangements for our stay. THANK YOU!

From the first email exchange to the follow up, this experience was perfect! Mark & Paula - thank you so much for being so accommodating and ensuring everything was to our satisfaction. The cabin was perfect for our family of six, and felt just like home with the backdrop of a beautiful forrest and snow. The pictures don't do this place justice. The remodel is beautiful, and the cabin is cozy yet so spacious!!!! The loft was a big hit with the kids, and gave everyone their own space :) We loved your home and appreciate you sharing it with us. Thanks again, and we will be returning soon!
Owner response:Thanks Michele. We are glad you all had a wonderful time. The picture of your kids in the snow was precious. Hope to have you back again soon!

*THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS CABIN!!*Thank you for allowing my family to stay at your beautiful cabin for Christmas. We were able to set up a Tree and create such a cozy feeling with the use of the fire place. It was so cold out side but the cabin warmed up perfectly we were able to forget it was that cold out after sledding or snowboarding all day. The drive to Snow Bowl was so easy! The kitchen table was perfect for a large Christmas Dinner ! I cant not wait to stay there again. Happy New Year!

Such a beautiful cabin! The kids played for hours in the snow while we relaxed on the patio. The details inside the cabin where beyond our expectations...now if we could only find our lost keys. Maybe after the snow melts. Thank you!

We loved your cabin! Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. It made a great home base for our trips to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. We were comfortable with four adults and two children in our party. The kids enjoyed watching movies and playing games (all provided at the cabin), while the adults read and watched college football. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a good central point to explore all that the area has to offer.
Owner response:Thanks Scott. I am glad you and your family enjoyed your stay.

Wonderful cabin! My family really enjoyed themselves and they kept commenting on the great cabin I found! The cabin was very clean and the interior is beautiful. Granite countertops, wonderful decks for reading and watching the storms roll in. The neighborhood is quiet and the cabin is easy to find. It is only about a mile west of I-17 and 5-6 miles south of Flagstaff. Prime location! Overall a very positive experience!
Owner response:Thanks Mark. I am glad you all enjoyed your trip. Hope to see you back soon.
