My wife and I were looking for an inexpensive place to stay with our son and his family for a week near the well regarded Poipu beach. I can't imagine how we could have done better than staying at the Turtle Cove Suite. First of all its literally a few minutes walk to Brennecke and Poipu Beaches which more than lived up to their reputations. This is a good size apartment that is modestly but appropriately furnished. Nothing fancy but well done and comfortable- the pictures are right on the money. The kitchen had everything we needed- even a blender. The complimentary Wi-Fi helped us find attractions on the island as well as post pictures and video to family and friends back home. There are ceiling fans throughout the apartment with AC in the bedrooms. I was wary about not having AC throughout but found that the island breezes were more than adequate to keep the living room comfortable. My wife and I found that the beds were comfortable and were blessed with good quality linens. Now understand that this condo has a short flight of stairs up to the entrance and is a 2 story unit itself- so its not for the immobile. We did make use of the condo's complimentary beach towels, beach chairs, boogey boards (I finally got the hang of using that thing) and umbrellas. Laundry facilities are free (including detergent) and shared with the other 3 units- we had no problems washing. These units have to be some of the best values in Poipu if not on Kauai- however a major reason for going with this place was Maureen's communication and ease of doing business. She definitely has that advantage over her competition. If we're ever lucky enough to have the opportunity to return to Kauai we'll be checking with Maureen first.

Great condo, with great access to the beach. We walked to the beach daily, and swam with the sea turtles. The condo is stocked with everthing you'll need for a great Hawaii vacation. You can choose to cook in or there are plenty of restaurants in the area. Only draw back to the condo, is not having a bathroom on the first floor.
