Year Purchased: 2009
I moved to the Santa Rosa Beach area in 2003. I retired from the USAF in 1994 and World Airways in 2009. I fell in love with this area when I attended ROTC summer camp in 1971. I had visited the area often over the years, and was finally able to make the move down here. It is a fantastic area. The bay is perfect for fishing, crabbing etc. Boating is also wonderful. I have a sailboat moored in one of the bayous and go sailing whenever I get the chance.
Why the Owner Chose Cypress Breeze Plantation
This rental house was chosen due to its location to the beach. It is a straight shot down hwy 393 to the major beach access of Walline Park. If you go North on hwy 393 you cross hwy 98 to Cessna Landing. This is a park and boat landing on the bay. It is located on a protected bayou. You can fish and crab from the dock located there as well as launch your boat. Best kept secret in the area.
The Unique Benefits of this House
You are about equal distance from the cities of Ft. Walton Beach and Panama City. It is an easy drive. This is a family oriented area with shopping and many restaurants nearby. I can provide a list of where the locals like to dine. Destin Commons is a large mall that is about 10 minutes away. Sandestin is an upscale development with many shops etc. It is just minutes away.
