This is an authentic American destination widely known for its charm, heritage and, yes, civility -- and incredible golf. British resort developer Simon Burgess visited the area in 2006 and was instantly impressed. "America is great at resort golf, but much of it is very modern and manmade with no history to it," he told Pinehurst Magazine. "Then you come to Pinehurst, and you have so much history. That's something you cannot build."

Great Place to Unwind After Golf

I've stayed at the Nibblick Cottage a few times over the last 7 years and it is a great place to stay for a golf weekend. Very spacious and accommodating for 8 golfers. Been going to Pinehurst annually around Columbus Day weekend. Overall the bedrooms are spacious with their own bathrooms and never had any problems with lack of hot water or water pressure which I've experienced at some other rental properties. Quiet location with nice outdoor patio and plenty of common areas for hanging out . Location just a few minutes drive to Pinehurst Clubhouse as well as most courses in the area. Check it out if planning on staying in the area.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
