  • This rental had everything a couple could want for a relaxing stay in Newport. Inside the unit everything was brand new and in pristine condition. Fully equipped kitchen made it easy to eat in if desired. Off-street parking was a bonus in this walking town and removed any hassles associated with parking. Literally blocks from public tennis courts, the Tennis Hall of Fame, shops, restaurants, the Cliff Walk, mansions, you name it. We felt right at home and were so much more comfortable than we would have been in a hotel room. Private, quiet, laid back and away from the hustle-bustle of the main drags, this condo afforded us the feeling of being real Newport-dwellers while still being in the center of action. Sports fans be aware though, ESPN 2 is not included in the basic cable package. Don't depend on the laundry machine as it was temperamental at best; machines in the somewhat creepy basement worked just fine. Overall a fantastic stay that we would not hesitate to recommend.
