5 Minutes to Disney! Pluto's Playhouse has everything to make your vacation comfortable, convenient, and fun for everyone. You are truly within 3 miles of the Disney parks; just a couple traffic lights away from the main road that drives across the Disney hotels and parks.
Gorgeously decorated with upgrades galore and a Platinum Package, the first floor of this home includes both a Living and Dining Room, as well as a Family Room with a two story ceiling. The large working Kitchen features Corian countertops and has a long, custom island with enough bar seating for 6 people.
For your enjoyment and convenience, the home also has a DVD player, 5 TVs & high speed internet access!
Pluto’s Playhouse also features a first floor spacious Master Bedroom with a king canopy bed and a large private bath. This Master Bath includes 2 sinks, a separate water closet and a Jacuzzi tub and a shower.
Upstairs includes 5 additional bedrooms. 3 of these are Bedroom Suites, with King beds and their own full baths. The other 2 rooms (The Hollywood Room and the Mickey & Minnie Mouse Room) each have 2 twin beds and share a full bathroom.
Lounge by the Southeast facing pool and spa! It is a wonderful place to relax, especially after a long day at the parks. The pool can be heated for your comfort no matter what part of the year you travel to Disney. We purchased extra, Platinum Package pool furniture, so 20 guests can comfortably relax poolside!
The Disney-themed Game Room includes a pool table and air hockey. Close to our home, you can take a stroll just down the street to the new children's playground.
Emerald Island Resort is a well-designed, private community with a lake. It is gated, and includes a private Clubhouse. The 4,000 square-foot Club house has a reception and working staff who can answer any questions you might have about enjoying your visit to the area. There is a Lounge area, where you can relax or meet with other guests. It also includes a large Video Arcade Room, where children young and old can play!
In addition to the High Speed Internet you have at Pluto’s Playhouse, the Clubhouse also has an IT Center with additional internet available. Beyond that, you can enjoy the community pool and the Tiki Bar there.
If you do not get enough exercise at the Disney parks, then feel free to use the well-equipped Fitness Room at the Clubhouse, too! Emerald Island Resort is truly a convenient, beautiful development to rent in, and Pluto’s Playhouse is a well-decorated and beautifully furnished home for your family and friends to make your Orlando memories at!

Why the Owner Chose Emerald Island Resort
Our family loves the Disney parks, the experiences and our great family memories there. Having our home in Emerald Island puts us so close to the parks, we love it! We like the security of the neighborhood, how nicely landscaped and well maintained it is, and all the conveniences of being right there. You can shop at the grocery store on the way in, or pick up dinner on the way home at night. Everything is so easy!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home is very well-designed. The rooms are large enough for our king beds, and there are so many bathrooms! I love the decorator we used; the furniture is such nice quality and the mattresses are so comfortable after a long day. As I mentioned earlier, I LOVE having our own private pool & jacuzzi. It is cool and refreshing in the summer and feels great when we heat it in the winter!
For EVERYTHING Disney! Also lots of great restaurants, a movie theater, DisneyQuest, etc, etc. Fun place to visit.

We have four children, so owning a home near Disney World was an obvious choice for us! Staying on site at Disney is so expensive for a larger family, and you do not have the conveniences of a home. We enjoy having plenty of room for everyone, a large kitchen to stock for breakfasts & some dinners, a washer/dryer right there, a playroom, and mostly our own private pool to relax in after a long day at the parks!
