Closest single family home to the Beaver Creek slopes in Avon. Stay in a home, not a condo and you won't have noise from above, below or side walls! On the Eagle River and closest home to the slopes in Avon. This spacious comfortable home is ideal for the family reunion or a great "friends get together". Directly on the FREE Shuttle route. If you are looking for a home near or in Beaver Creek make sure you check the location, as some are quite far and not on the shuttle route.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, and gorgeous granite countertops and tile backsplash. Living and Dining rooms are all one big room with full wall sliding glass doors opening onto a large patio with gas grill, on one end and floor to ceiling south facing windows in the living area to let in all the beautiful Colorado sunshine and to view the mountains, The Eagle River runs right in front and there is river access. The real wood burning fireplace is double-sided.
The first floor bedroom is complete with it's own fireplace and a trundle bed with 2 twins. Off the bedroom is a 3/4 bath with granite counterto, stone sink and laundry room. On the second floor is a bedroom with double bed and views of the river, loft with a twin bed, and a full bath with granite floor and countertop.
The master bedroom on the second floor is roomy, the large bathroom has heated tile floors, walk in stone shower, huge Japanese soaking tub (for those sore muscles), and double sinks in granite. The third floor is all one large bedroom with a queen bed, bunk beds, and a 3/4 bath.
The Eagle river is just steps out the front door for fly fishing, and the home is on the free shuttle route, convenient to everything The free shuttle stops directly across the street to take you to Beaver Creek or to the Avon hub and from there you can catch a bus to anywhere in the valley.

Why the Owner Chose Avon
The Rocky Mountains have been a favorite spot for most of my life and Avon is the heart of the Vail Valley, everything is within a ten minute drive, bus ride, bike ride or walk. I have the river outside the front door and the mountains to look up to outside the front window.
The Unique Benefits at this House
With 4 bedrooms, a loft and four bathrooms, the whole family can be comfortable without tripping on one another. Having a single family home located in an enclave gives you the quiet (no one up above you pounding on the floor like in a condo) and the privacy, while having the grounds and maintenance taken care of. Build a cozy fire in the wood burning fireplace. Wood burning fireplaces have been banned in the Vail Valley so it is harder to find a property with one and this one is double-sided into the downstairs bedroom.
This stop will conect you to anywhere in the entire Vail Valley. To ski Beaver Creek take bus to bottom of mountain (approx. 3 minutes) and then take Beaver Creek shuttle up, it will drop you off near the escalator to the lifts

My home is central to everything, right across the street you can hop on the bus and go anywhere...no hassles with expensive parking. I am right on the river for fishing or kayaking. Most visit in the winter but summer and fall are the best kept secrets. There is nothing quite like the Vail Valley in the Summer with the numerous flowers and Farmer's Markets or Fall when the aspen trees are all golden.
