The cottage is only steps to restaurants and shops, a block to Del Mar's spectacular beach cliffs, a two block walk to beach access through the park and playground, and surf spots. Nestled in a forest of huge trees on a large corner lot, you have privacy and quiet yet you are in the middle of everything Del Mar has to offer...and always have parking for up to two cars! Located just two blocks down the street (South)from the LeBerge Resort...a five minute walk to Banana Republic and Starbucks.
Listen to ocean waves while sitting on one of the two decks, see the ocean through the trees, watch the world go by from the adirondack chairs under the huge pine tree on the front lawn, barbecue on the back deck, read the morning paper from the deck off the master bedroom. Play pool, enjoy a fire, watch tv, walk/run on the nearby cliffs, enjoy books/videos from the house library, watch the sunsets over the ocean.
The backyard is fenced and perfect for one pup. Nice for children, too. The cottage has hardwood floors throughout and a gas fireplace. Antique four poster beds are combined with bunks, a sofa bed and a twin for comfort and ambience. An outside shower is perfect after the beach. It is a cozy family home just waiting to let you relax and enjoy life in the slow lane.

This is a perfect and very well kept house in the middle of Del Mar. The easy walk to the beach takes about 10 minutes, and just about two minutes to the heart of Del Mar. The backyard is great for a dog. There is a pool table in the converted garage. Great hang out! We've stayed twice at this lovely house this year and we're going to keep the contact for further stays. The owner is very helpful and easy to communicate with. Board&Brew is right across from the backyard. Great for sandwiches!!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
