  This was a lovely home in Fort Morgan at the Rookery. The house was decorated beautifully and the beds were comfortable (which is huge plus when you are away from home). It was a little too far to walk to the beach, but driving to the beach wasn't bad. It was cold the first few days of our stay so that didn't matter. I would certainly recommend this place to a friend, but do remember you are 15 minutes or so from "town" but we think that is a plus.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

  We enjoyed staying in your cottage. It was equipped with everything we needed. We had some problems with wifi and bathtub draining and maintenance was very quick to respond. We were happy we didn't stay right in Gulf Shores with 3 teenage daughters. Thank you so much for a great place to stay on our spring break!!

  Love this house! Directly across the street from the pool. and a very short drive to the beach! Lots of space, kitchen was perfect. The entire house has a great layout. Walmart is 20 minute drive, Dollar General 10 minute drive, Tacky Jacks 10 minute drive, everything is a short drive from the house but so worth the peace and quiet. Away from the hustle and bustle of being directly in gulf shores. We really enjoyed staying here for a week. :-) We will definately be back!

  We had a blast on vacation this summer. The house was very clean and convient to the beach and the pool. Although we had to drive to the beach it was a very short ride. We definetly will be back to stay at the rookery again.

  This was my third stay at this property and I specifically request it each time. It is well appointed and easily accessible to the beach as well as pools on site. I have recommended it to others and would not hesitate to stay again.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The 3 bdrm unit was like new, nicely furnished and very clean. Unfortunately the no-see-ums(tiny biting flies) were out and it was hard to enjoy the pool. We spent days at the beach (a short drive away; no flies there!). Initially didn't have WiFi but the manager hooked us up right away. The only hot tub was in Rookery I and the unit keys didn't work for that pool ( we went anyway but were informed by folks there that it was for those owners only) Overall very nice, private, and a good value for a family stay.

• Love Rookery III!

  We have stayed in Rookery III before, so we knew the cottage was exactly what we were looking for. The cottage was very clean, extremely comfortable and had everything we could possibly want. Our 2-1/2 month 'snowbird' winter has flown and we have had a ball. My husband loves Kiva Dunes to play golf, we've walked on the beach, played mini golf at Pirate's Island, bowled at Gulf Bowl, taken day trips to Mobile and many other area activities. We've regularly gone out to eat to our favorite restaurants - Lulu's, King Neptunes (best onion rings and cole slaw in Gulf Shores), Tacky Jack's and Tin Top. We love the Fort Morgan area for its peace and quiet and have never minded the drive into Gulf Shores proper. It was always so nice to have such a wonderful place to come home to. Chris at Luna Beach Properties was great to work with and we are planning our return visit to Rookery III.

  We stayed here for a week. It was a great time! There were 7 of us total and I was worried we would feel cramped but we weren't at all. Having the 2 pools was a nice addition. We had never stayed on the bay side before but didn't have any problem with the short ride to the beach. The house had everything we needed, was decorated beautifuly and Chris was easy to work with. We plan on coming back to The Rookery III next year!

  My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at this property! We have been vacationing in the Fort Morgan area for years and have always wanted to give the Rookery a try - I am so glad we did! The cottage was immaculately clean, spacious and beautifully furnished - and the location was just far enough off the beaten path to keep us out of the hustle and bustle of spring break week. Chris was so easy to work with, and I especially liked the lockbox entry, since we arrived late the first night. We are already planning our return trip in May!

  This property is beautifully decorated and conveniently located within a two minute drive to the beach. The enclosed porch was charming. Also, this property is located across from the pool for easy access. Chris at Luna Beach Properties is professional and answered all my questions promptly.
