We loved the Kinney house - great location and amenities for a family of 4 as well as larger parties. The home is completely updated and has everything you could need for your stay. In fact, it brought us good luck - we found and closed on our new home in 4 days while there!

Charming house, perfect location for an Austin Weekend

We were four guys on a golf trip and rented the house for four days and couldn't have been happier with our selection. The house was clean and comfortable and was centrally located for our needs. We spent our days on the golf course and our evenings at the downtown bars. The house was an easy $8 cab ride from the 4th/6th street bars. It was also nice having a cool coffee hangout (Opa) a short walk away. I would definitely consider renting again on a return trip to Austin.

This house had everything we needed and wanted for a great stay in Austin. The location is great, walk to local eats, drinks, supplies (airstream sandwich shop accross the street, great bar around the corner, coffee two blocks away in the morning, CVS accross the street). Also, just about a 5 min cab ride from most Austin destinations and the cab will be at your door in less than 5 min. The house is super clean with everything you need and has plenty of space to relax and enjoy your stay. The owner was also very helpful!

Connie, We just spent 5 nights in Austin for the Thanksgiving holiday and I wanted to tell you how much we loved your Kinney Ave house. We had planned on 3 of us staying, but at the last minute had a niece from Denver join the group. I was somewhat concerned regarding space before we arrived, but the front bedroom/den couch that converts into a bed was a "perfect fit." Great amenities, great location and very comfortable decor. I personally loved the back porch glider tucked into the corner where I enjoyed my first cup of coffee every morning. We'll definitely recommend your house to all our friends. Thanks again.

Just had a "girls weekend" reunion and decided to do it at a rented house rather than in a hotel because we were wanting that all-important "hang out" time to laugh and catch up. The Kinney house gave us that and more. Very comfy and accomodating. We had a blast and appreciated the convenient location and the fact that the ammenities provided made the house feel like home. THANK you, Connie! I will be recommending your place to friends and family visiting Austin from now on!

Hi Connie: Thanks for the use of your Kinney Ave house this past week. It was ideal for us. We got our daughter moved out of her apt at U.T. The house is very well equipped (some aren't), and the coffee in the freezer was a nice touch. We really like the location just off Lamar, as it is walking distance to a couple of my cousins' houses as well as an easy run up to UT or down "Manshack" to my uncle's house. Thanks again.

LOVED my stay at the Kinney House. Fantastic house and ideal location to everything worth doing in Austin. The house is perfect for groups of 3-5 people looking to crash for music festivals or couples looking to spend a nice weekend together. Connie (the owner) was very accommodating to everything we needed. Will be staying here again on future trips to Austin!!

This house was amazing! We loved it and loved walking around the neighborhood at sunset. Also there is a great Vietnamese sandwhich/smoothie place at the bus stop across the street. All in all it was a wonderful trip and house.

The Kinney house is clean, comfortable and has an amply-equipped kitchen.  Definitely a relaxing place to come back to every evening after exploring Austin. Transportation to downtown via bus or taxi is cheap & convenient.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Kinney House. I understand that it was recently renovated and it looks really terrific. I also enjoyed being able to walk to some really nice places in Austin. The Alamo theater on South Lamar, probably one of the coolest movie theaters anywhere, was a short walk. We also peeked into the Saxon Pub to check out some live music. walking south the next morning, the Irie Bean Coffee shop was a really fun place to hang out with fellow bedheads. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Austin.
