Kids had a fantastic time, as well as the adults! Condo is located in a great community. Very quiet, clean, and beautiful area. Beachside pool is an awesome amenity. The beach was pristine and full of many different types of seashells which our family loves to search for.

We more than enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia House! What a beautiful condo with all the necessary amenities and an outstanding view of the bay. The staff at the Magnolia House were most accomodating and the convenience of the cart ride to the beach was a lifesaver!! We plan to return again next year for sure.

We just returned from a week's stay at Destin Pointe and couldn't have been more pleased. The condo met our needs perfectly, and we can hardly wait to return! The tastefully decorated one bedroom unit was an ideal size for us with lovely views of the Magnolia House pool, lush grounds, and the East Pass. We enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony and looked forward to watching the exquisite sunsets each evening. We swam in both pools and enjoyed our daily walks to the beach via the walkway over Lake Christine. The complimentary beach chairs and umbrella were an added bonus. Destin Pointe is conveniently located near many of our favorite restaurants including Callahan's, Harry T's, and Dewey Destin's, as well as Sexton's Seafood Market where we purchased fresh shrimp. Thank you, Sharon and John, for your prompt responses to our inquiries and for your gracious hospitality. We heartily recommend this condo to anyone interested in enjoying an ideal vacation "home away from home"!

We were VERY pleased with the condo, it wascomfortable and very clean. It is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is well equipped and there is a very comfortable king size bed. There is even a washer and dryer for added convenience. It has a beautiful view and the trolley service to the beach is great, we also enjoyed the short walk to the beach. The beach umbrella and chair service was a much appreciated added bonus. Also, we enjoyed grilling outside 2 nights, the grills were very clean. Also, it is a very good idea to have the keys in the lockbox beside the door, very convenient. Also, it is in a location that has lots to do including shopping and very good restaurants. We enjoyed going to the antique stores and Old Time Pottery. The Lighthouse has great seafood at a good price, thanks for recommending it. We had no complaints at all and would love to stay here again.

Destin Pointe is a beautiful location. The Magnolia House is a very quiet and comfortable condominium with a beautilul view of the East Pass if you are on the 3rd floor or higher. This unit, 306, however was the least accomodating unit my family and I have stayed in for our 12 years of vacationing in Destin. One burner on the stove would not work. The washer and dryer both broke during our stay, leaving us with 4 days without these amenities. We traveled back and forth to a laundrymat 3 times. Even though we expected and paid for the convienence of a washer and dryer in the condo, we were given no discount or credit for not being able to use them. We also courteously waited for a repairman come and repair them on 2 seperate days. It would have been more fun to be on the beach! This unit was also not user friendly in the kitchen. There was only one set of dishes for use, and very few utensils. The dishes would need to be washed in the dishwasher before the next meal of the day. Most condos that we have rented have had several sets of dishes to allow for at lest 2 meals before running out. In addition to the old appliances, the sofa sleeper was very old with hard springs; not comfortable at all for sleeping. I would not recommend this unit for a relaxing stay.

We enjoyed the location,view,peacefullness,security and the choice of two beaches to enjoy. Great location in the heart of destin but you feel like you are in a small community. Condo was very well kept up and clean also you have the choice of parking and we never had a problem finding a parking spot close to elevator.Thursday night fireworks in the pass has one of the best views from the condo balcony.We have taken vacations in Florida the last 4 years 3 in the destin area and this is the first place we said we would like to come back to.Great place if you want to fish the east jetty ,snorkeling or just enjoy the beach all with in a short walk.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The view is very good. The property is well maintained. The unit is great for a couple wanting to get away for a little while and just relax. John was very quick at responding to our questions and any issues. We will be back... in fact, I'm a little reluctant to write a good review for fear that more people will rent and we wont be able to get all the dates we want!
