I am a retired software engineer who also taught high school math for 5 years. My wife is self employed and enjoys working. We find the 3 hour drive from Phoenix to be scenic and enjoyable, and look forward to our escapes to our vacation home whenever possible. We have two small Bichon Frise dogs who enjoy the escapes as much as we do. I have backpacked throughout Arizona and especially in the Grand Canyon. I also ride my motorcycle and enjoy the roads in the White mountains. I like the fact that our car and motorcycle can share the garage comfortably.

This is a beautiful condo. We rented it for the Month of July and could not have been happier. The owners are wonderful and extremely helpful. The unit was very clean and well maintained . It is a large two bedroom with a loft which gives you plenty of space. This condo lived up to its description and then some. The decor is lovely and a good deal of time and expense has gone into upgrading the floors, kitchen and bathrooms. It has lovely decor and really makes you feel you are staying in a home. They even have cookbooks!! The owner provides a great deal of information on the local area and excellent instructions for how to operate things in the condo. The complex itself is well located between Show Low and Pinetop Lakeside. It is a mid-sized complex and the people are very friendly. The units are surrounded by beautiful woods. It is a great place to walk and enjoy the outdoors. We took our small dog and it was a perfect location for her as well. The local area offers many outdoor activities and a great place to get away from the heat. We had a great experience and would strongly recommend renting this unit. We can't wait to go back. We have rented many units directly from owners and this is at the top of the list. Book it now you won't be sorry.
