Great View & Low Price on 1 Bedroom Lae Nani Condo Unit

Year Purchased: 2008

Why the Owner Chose Kapaa

We've been part-time residents of Kauai's East shore for decades and decided to purchase a condo at our favorite swimming beach. When we saw the view from Lae Nani 231 we were just overwhelmed. Even though we usually don't stay there we drop in when it is vacant just to enjoy the view and look for whales in season.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo

At least one of Kauai's great hiking trails is very near by (Sleeping Giant) as is the new multi-purpose trail, upon which we enjoy cycling. Great restaurants within walking distance are award-winning Monico's Taqueria, Korean Bar-B-Que, Tutu's Soup, and Restaurant Kintaro. For breakfast we like Eggbert's. See a complete list of good eateries on our website, www.LaeNaniKauai.com .

Nice thing about this location is that you can drive to any part of the island in a reasonable amount of time.

Lae Nani's pool is large enough for real swimming, heated in winter. The beach right out front was and has been our favorite, even before we purchase Lae Nani 231.

Within walking distance is Wailua beach, great for a sunrise walk. Also within a very short walk, don't miss Goldsmith's Gallery where jewelry is actually crafted on the premises. Tin Can Mailman, a purveyor of used and rare books has an amazing collection of 'stuff' from Hawaii and the Pacific. Want to find a piece of pardise for yourself? See Phil Fudge at Kaua'i Landmark Realty. He helped us buy Lae Nani 231. Need a casual comfortable outfit? Visit Style World. Yes, there's a surf shop with boards and all kinds of beach gear. Right next to Tutu's.

But most of all it's the view: Sun sparkling on the blue Pacific, moonlight on the water, or just look down to check out who's at the pool.

Owner's Map of Kapaa

We are Phil and Beth Harrison. We have several small residences around the country, all condominiums. Beth is an amateur musician with a degree from Indiana University. Phil is a graduate of Culver Military Academy, University of Kansas and Indiana University. We have been real estate owners on Kaua'i for decades. The photo? We managed to catch a foul ball at the Yankees/Braves game in Steinbrenner Stadium in Tampa March 7, 2009. How about that?!
We pride ourselves in maintaining a clean, well appointed place with regular improvements such as new carpet, new bedspread, pleasant artwork, nice furniture and appliances. Be sure to see our website, www.LaeNaniKauai.com .

“Dear Phil and Beth: Thanks so much for sharing Lae Nani with us. We had a wonderful time here. On my 50th birthday we rented bicycles and rode all day to the path’s end and then up to Lydgate Park. We did borrow masks at your suggestion and saw many beautiful fish there… We find the home very cozy and it had everything we needed, so thanks for leaving stuff around. Enjoyed reading a bit of your books, too.”

“Wow! An adventure island to the top. Hiking the Kalalau Trail up to the water fall was a good start.”

“Wow! What an island! We came from Southeast Alaska (our own island) and it is not nearly as wonderful as Kaua’i. A different beauty, of course…. We are on a ‘sisters’ visit and have enjoyed our time here with just the girls very much. We look forward to coming here and researched Lae Nani 231 a lot before choosing it for our get-away and I’m glad we did. It has everything one needs to enjoy these beautiful surroundings… even a coffee pot for those lazy, sun-filled mornings. I have enjoyed the privacy and views of the pool and ocean from the huge lanai. It’s great. The snorkeling here on Kaua’i is unbelievable as well as great beaches… Thanks so much for the wonderful vacation. We’ll remember it always…. Thanks for providing us with a cozy home base while we enjoyed ourselves.”

“My husband had a conference on the Big Island and we came first to see Kau’i. Such a beautiful spot and wonderful place to stay. We appreciate your hospitality in this very nice place. We loved the fact that we bought wine and broiled fish and made some pretty nice meals. So very nice to have been here – we miss it and we’re sad to leave.”
