Walk out the elevator directly in to "Cloud 9" in the Air Tower of Cancun's newest most modern residence, Lahia. The blue waters seem to surround the apartment as viewed through the wall of glass doors that slide open completely allowing you to connect the living space with the outdoors. You are not so high as to miss the connection with the white sandy beach but high enough to feel like floating on white puffy clouds over blue turquoise waters. This very spacious 2800 square foot, modern, hip and chic apartment is situated on the widest and most coveted part of the beach in Cancun. The beach is perfect, no hurricane erosion, just beautiful blue water bay and white sand for you and your loved ones to enjoy. This is a unique area of Cancun beach because you have access to water that can have fun waves and water that is calm for snorkeling just a few steps away at the coral reef. This range provides a variety of activities for adults, children and young adults at the most beautiful beach in Cancun. Lahia is situated next to the Westin, Club Med and Sun Palace resorts away from the busy and noisy sections of Cancun. No wild parties here, just serenity and wholesome family activities at the beach. Very convenient location we are only 15 minutes by bus or taxi to the Senor Frogs, Hard Rock, Coco Bongo and other party zones when you feel like going out there.
Cloud 9 features ensuite bathrooms and walk in closets for all three bedrooms. Ocean side master bedroom has full view of ocean and opens to the balcony with jacuzzi hot tub. The second master is in rear of apartment with lagoon view of the gorgeous sunsets. All the beds are furnished with high quality linens, pillows, mattresses and bedding for true five star accommodations. Daily Maid Service is included at no extra cost. Rosi will do the dishes and make the beds and tidy up from 10am - 2pm every day so that you can enjoy your vacation. Our building complex is equipped with a soft water and UV filtration system that treats all the water for the apartments. We have installed a separate Reverse Osmosis filter system in kitchen which provides water at the sink and refrigerator/ice maker that is higher quality than bottled water. Please do drink the water, wash the veggies from the tap, brush your teeth with the tap water. Don't worry it is just like home.
The amenities in Lahia are top notch with a tennis court, gym on penthouse level with views views views. How will you concentrate in the racquet ball court or the aerobics classes with all those views of the ocean and lagoon? You can just go to the gym/spa deck and have a drink on the patio. Now that is a vacation work out.
This area of the beach is perfect for both adults and children. The waves are fun for body surfing and boogie boarding. The infinity pool is relaxing with the longest pool of any condo in Cancun. At the pool there is a snack bar where you can order breakfast or lunch or a beer/fresh juice at extremely reasonable prices. Room service: You can call down to the snack bar on the intercom and they will deliver to your apartment no extra charge. We also feature a swim up and walk up bar at the pool. Lahia has two bilingual concierge on staff every day of the year. The concierge can do shopping for you ($15USD per trip) or help with local activities and bookings. These amenities are not available at other condominium complexes in Cancun.
We have provided coolers, 2 boogie boards, soccer and footballs, sand toys and board games for kids and the young at heart. Adults are mesmerized at the view to the ocean and the sunsets looking out the back to the lagoon. This is a romantic and beautiful setting filled with peace and serenity. Please take a walk along the beach and walk to the calm bay in front of Club Med to go snorkeling or visit the tide pools, find beautiful shells or look for iguanas among the rocks in the alcove. Look for the blow hole by the light house and see how high the water shoots out depending on the level of the tide that day. The snorkeling area by the coral reef is the same area that the tours charge you $25/person to take you by boat. You can walk there within 5 minutes from "Cloud 9". With only 135 units there are not a lot of guests at Lahia, you will feel comfortable and pampered sitting by your exclusive infinity pool on luxury furnishings feeling like royalty. Why the Owner Chose Lahia
Our family has been vacationing in Cancun since 1992. My wife and I backpacked the whole Yucatan peninsula and travelled throughout Beliz on those converted yellow school buses complete with the Garrifuna music and all. Once we had children we appreciated having the niceties of the modern world. The amenities of Cancun and the great infrastucture that has developed in recent years really make our vacations much easier. This is why we bought our condo in Lahia to have the comforts of home in a beach paradise. We hope that you enjoy the peaceful setting, calming ocean breeze and wonderful family atmosphere found in this particular location of the beach in Cancun.This is a really one of the most wonderful sections of beach we have found in the world. We have been to fabulous beaches in Thailand, Malaysia, Australia and Hawaii and the warm clear water and sandy beach at Lahia is one of the best.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The property is located at the best part of the beach in all of Cancun. There are no rocks, just soft white sand and a wide gorgeous stretch of beach. Lahia is a family oriented building and most units are NOT rented. This makes for a peaceful quiet setting since many units are used only a few months out of the year. We never have to get up early to get a good chair on the beach or by the pool. We have excellent staff and a wonderful snack/juice bar at the pool along with views of the ocean and lagoon from all the units. The location is serene but within 15 minutes we can be down by the party zone at the restaurants and clubs. Excellent location without the noise from Senor Frogs etc. Being within 5 km of Mex 307 lets us bypass the hotel zone when we want to drive down town or to zip down to Playa del Carmen.
Walk along the beach past Club Med to the snorkeling area all the boats take the guests. You can walk here in 10 minutes.
Yes we have Costco just like home with excellent meats and great selection of beer and wine.

We are a typical family living the fast paced life of the city and the internet connected world. You know the blackberry never stops and the kids always need to be somewhere or picked up or dropped off. Between work and soccer and piano and Sunday school it is amazing that we get to spend quality time together. We bought our condo in paradise to slow down, decompress, stare at the blue ocean, walk along the beach, go boogie boarding and do all the other things we like to do (but still have access to the connected world when we need to.)We are now managing 7 other units at Lahia as vacation rentals for other owners. We had a fabulous time at the condo. As previous reviewsers mentioned, the unit is even better and more spacious than it looks in the pictures. We were there for 5 days in the month of July. The condo is very clean, all the staff are very welcoming and helpful, spa service was wonderful, pool and the beach were excellent. The condo offers free parking if you decide to rent a car (We rented a van from Easy way rental which worked out great). The owner offers free Internet and it worked without any issues. This condo is very close from the airport but away from all the hectic scenes up in Cancun hotel zones. The condo is located almost at the bottom end of hotel zones next to Westin. This was perfect for us since we traveled with an 8-months old baby and a kid. Moreover, the owner was delightful to work with and offered many useful information for our vacation! If we return to Cancun, we will definitely stay here again!

Lahia is a rare find and a well kept secret. The property is recently constructed and on the southern end of the hotel zone at 19.5 KM. It’s a 5 min drive to the best restaurants in Cancun, but removed from all the chaotic tourism on the northern end of the hotel zone. It’s perfect for families that want a safe, secure and more private vacation experience. Lahia provides the privacy and spaciousness of a residential condominium experience coupled with the convenience and amenities of a resort experience. The pristine white sand beaches groomed each morning, the enormous resort style infinity pool, and the first class spa & exercise facility are all consistent with the quality one would find at a 4 star resort. And one of the most valued conveniences is the bar and restaurant located next to the pool and beach. One can either bring their own food and drinks down from their residence to enjoy by the pool and beach or choose the convenience of eating and drinking at the bar and restaurant. Further, all menu items and spa services are less than half the normal price one would find at a resort, as all costs are subsidized by the property owners of Lahia. “Cloud 9” is an exceptionally beautiful private residence within Lahia. It provides expansive rooms, an enormous balcony with meditative views and all the comforts and conveniences one would enjoy at home. Our stay was fantastic and we plan to return many times in the future. We highly recommend you experience “Cloud 9” at Lahia for your next vacation.

This is such a beautiful special gem of a place...we were there for 5 days in feb. with 3 children (7, 5 and 2) We have stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Cancun many times and felt we could use a little more space (for a lot less $). The owner is very helpful- always available if we had questions and is genuinely concerned that his guests are happy. The apartment is just as pictured although seemed more spacious once we were there and you can't beat the balcony overlooking the beach. Again- it's so much better than a picture can even convey. Having a car would have been helpful as there is not much within walking distance but the bus is right out front and security or concierge is available for taxi service. The staff is so friendly- we especially enjoyed geraldo at the pool bar and oscar - the lifeguard. He was so watchful as the surf can be quite rough at times. We recommend and hope to return annually!

Our family stayed at Cloud Nine during Thanksgiving week, Nov. 23 to Dec. 1, 2009. We had eight adults and two young children, so filled the condo to its maximum. We were very comfortable and had enough space for all. The unit is extremely well furnished and the kitchen has just about everything that you could ever need. The towels, beach towels, and bed linens are top rate and much better than any hotel that we have stayed at. The unit is very, very clean and kept that way by the arrival of Rosie, the maid, each day. She goes about her chores each day and you hardly know that she is there. She is the reason everything is in tip-top shape! If you need anything that Rosie cannot take care of, there is also a local property manager who is only a phone call away. The unit also has a lot of nice extras like beach toys, coolers, boogie boards, etc. The best part is Lahia itself! It is a gorgeous building with all the amenities. It is very secure and the staff is very attentive. The pools are beautiful and there is plenty of space, chairs, and lounges. The beach is the best in the area. We ate at the poolside cabana almost every day. The food was good and very inexpensive. The health club on the upper floors is fantastic with spectacular views. Everything is available, from exercise facility with every type of weight machine to steam room, sauna, whirlpool, gym, and racquetball. The racquetball court has a glass wall that overlooks the lagoon, spectacular and fun to play in. There is also a game room with pool and ping pong, a tennis court, and a kids club. The spa has massages available at 80 minutes for 300 pesos(less than US$25.). We scheduled one almost every day, fantastic! The staff at Lahia is very friendly and works to make your stay enjoyable. We did our grocery shopping through the concierge and everything was delivered within 2-4 hours. We are still in touch with some of the staff via e-mail and facebook. They were so fun! The location is perfect. Away from noise and congestion, but only a 10-30 minute bus ride away depending on where you want to go. We never waited more than 5 min. for a bus, right out in front of Lahia. The owners, the Parsi's, were great to work with. They provided everything and called to make sure that everything was in order. We would not hesitate to rent their unit again. I see that they are now representing some other Lahia units and would expect that the Parsi's same high standards would be expected."

We stayed at Cloud 9 from December 30 to January 7 2010. We loved everything about the condo and our stay. The kitchen is so well equipped, brand new, all in granite with robust appliances and utensils. We could hold two lovely dinners such as NYE and our daughter's birthday and everything was there, even tableware for special occasions. The apartment is so new and neutrally decorated, you immediately feel at home. The main feature is the amazing view of the caribbean sea. You can open almost the whole window of the living area and main bedroom for the most amazing feel and ocean view. We were there in the cold season so it was nice and refreshing to do this as Kaveh had suggested. Given the weather, for most of our stay the pool and beach were off limits for us. However, we filled the jacuzzi on the terrace for our little girls so they could "swim" in warm and cosy water while being outside overlooking the ocean. All white towels are brand new, the bed linen is fantastic. The bathroom in the master bedroom is very large and spacious with plenty of storage room. In addition to this each bedroom has a walk-in closet with plenty of storage again. We availed of Rosi's services full time and she took care of us very well. On two occasions, we used the barbecue on the terrace which was a fantastic treat. Really, we cannot think of anything to make this apartment better. One of the huge advantages of this apartment as compared to others is that it is within a residential complex with a lot of the services you find in a hotel. We took lots of massages at the sky spa. Massages are very well priced given that the spa is mainly financed by the residents so you pay around 20 usd for an hour's massage. We felt it would be crazy not to have at least one every day. The sauna is great as well as the jacuzzi. The Kids club is on the same tower as the apartment so all you need to do is take the elevator down. They have a young girl supervising manual work of kids. Again, because of the weather we had, this was a plus. As soon as there are kids, a few toys and colorful things, kids always find ways of amusing themselves. If you have nice weather you will probably not be using this room as your kids will have the best entertainment at the beach. We were very happy with this apartment, the nicest we have rented so far in homeaway and we recommend it for anyone who enjoys the good things in life. Thank you Kaveh and family.

I had looked all over for a place our family (6 adults and three children) could vacation. Cloud Nine was PERFECT in every way. The location, the staff, the beach, the pool, the bar/restaurant, were fabulous - but the conodminium was simply incredible. Well appointed, extremely clean, wonderful furnishings and a terrific outlook. We could not have asked for me. I think one of the most positive things was dealing with the owner directly. He was SO helpful and spent time talking with my daughter to make sure everything was just right. Thank you for an incredible time. We will definitley be back.

My family and I stayed in Cloud 9 for one week in August and it was fabulous!!!!! There were 6 adults and 3 small children all under the ages of 4 and we had plenty of room. Cloud 9 is spacious, beautifully decorated, very well equipped, and kept very clean by the wonderful house keeper that comes daily. Cloud 9 has an exquisite view of the ocean and the pool is perfect for adults and children. The food from the snack bar is very good and very reasonable. In fact, we had Cecilo (chef at pool side bar) come and cook dinner for us 2 nights during our stay and they were delicious and truly authentic. Lastly, the spa services were amazing! If you are looking for a relaxing,beautiful, safe and fun vacation I highly recommend you stay in Cloud 9!!!! We cannot wait to go back.

My family stayed in "Cloud 9" for 1 week at the end of July 09. The place was fantastic. This was our 22nd trip to Cancun, but the first time renting a condo. We have stayed at most of the first class hotels up and down the hotel zone(JW Marriott, Ritz Carlton, Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach, RIU Palace Las Americas, etc.), and this place, by far, stands above the rest. The pool and stretch of beach, in my opinion, are the nicest in Cancun. The spa, staff, and snack bar/lunch area were icing on the cake. There is a bus stop right in front of the complex, so transportation to and from the hotel zone is a breeze. Dealing directly with the owner was a pleasure.
