Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is the newest and most spectacular luxury resort in Los Cabos. Away from the usual concentration of hotels along the Sea of Cortez and Medano Beach, Sunset Beach's 140-acre site provides a uniquely tranquil and secluded setting for this new destination resort. The architecture features separate villas in "Old Hacienda" style, a contemporary blend of Spanish and Mexican influences - all low-rise, low density. It was designed by the Newport Beach, California, firm of Wimberly, Allison, Tong, and Goo, designers of many of the world's top resorts including the Ritz Carlton's Laguna Niguel property, The Four Seasons' Aviara Resort near San Diego, Disney's' Grand Floridian, Hiltons' Waikoloa Resort on the Big Island, the Grand Hyatt in Kauai, Bahamas' Atlantis, Sun City in South Africa and the Venetian in Vegas... In total, 22 of Conde Naste "Worlds' Top 100 Resorts," were built by WAT&G.
Lush and innovative landscaping blends with the unique desert terrain surrounding this resort. Peridian International, also of Newport Beach, California fame, are the landscapers. Grounds are adorned with exotic birds [flamingos, swans, peacocks and toucans], water fountains, tropical fish, courgainvillas, Palm trees, fountains, and night mood lighting to give it exotic tropical appeal.
SUITES:
Without questions, this is "THE" finest suite in the entire resort. This Super Executive Suite is one of two suites' of it's kind - at 2000 square feet, has its own wrap-around deck, featuring dramatic unbroken 270-degree views of the sunsets and whales as you look West at the Pacific Ocean... A glance South and you'll see the mountains near Land's End and North to the El Faro lighthouse.
The suites' almost 1000 square foot of private wrap-around deck, features chez lounges, patio tables, and chairs for outside dining, your own private large six-person Jaccuzi and both sunny tanning areas and Philipino-mahogony covered shady reading sections. Views unparalleled in the entire resort.
Your suite has individually controlled air conditioning, an in-room safe, direct-dial Internet access, water in your unit [and throughout the resort] is purified and safe for drinking. The suite is conveniently located adjacent to the main clubhouse, shops, restaurants, concierge, church, etc.
FACILITIES:
Facilities include one small and two large swimming pools with swim-up palapa bars/restaurants, beachside jaccuzi's, a children's pool areas, kids activities centres, a 50,000 square foot dual level European Health Spa and two flood-lit tennis courts. Dining options range from fine international cuisine with Mexican flair at our poolside LaNao Restaurant, to more casual dining at the Aqua [swim-up] Bar. Other dining establishments will include both French and Italian fine-dining facilities and a Whale-Watchers Bar.
Onsite, are full concierge facilities, from where your fishing, golf, diving, hiking, horseback riding, car-rental, etc., can be booked. A deli and full onsite convenience store are located on the resort for your convenience. Shops, art and curio stores, a church, and medical centre make this destination resort, a self-contained "home away from home." Far enough from the madding crowd, to make it the perfect hide-away destination for a vacation... Yet close enough to be in town in five minutes, in our FREE shuttle service.
