Reviews that we had seen of Casa Naomi were very favorable, but we found it to be even better than we expected. What was most surprising is how spacious it seems. It lives big, because the deck is seamlessly integrated into the rest of the house. It is very comfortable. By description, it's the smallest place in PV that we've ever stayed in, but we actually had more useful space than in condos that were much larger. The location is fantastic. This is no place for the physically handicapped, but it's a reasonable walk down the steps to the beach and the walk downtown. You are quite close to many of the best restaurants in PV. I highly recommend using the VIP service from the airport that Chris suggests in his material about Casa Naomi. When I lost my passport (which I emphatically do not recommend), they took over and made an otherwise terrifying situation bearable. They did it out of friendship with Chris. Chris thinks of everything in the way of supplies, and our stay could not have been more relaxing (aside from the passport). We liked Casa Naomi so much that we immediately applied for the same time period next year when we got home.

I recently stayed at Casa Naomi for 17 glorious days and nights, and would stay there again in a heartbeat!!! Chris did a fantastic and very creative job renovating this charming and yet urban feeling one bedroom, 1 1/2 washroom apartment, with magical touches of romance in the bedroom, a large and very beautiful well stocked modern kitchen, and lovely plants including swaying palm trees on the expansive terrace which is great for entertaining, lounging, people watching and best of all relaxing and listening to the waves just below! Chris is a breeze to deal with, and really delivers with this extremely well located gem of a home in this crazy and wonderful town of Puerto Vallarta! Thanks again Chris, and here's to next year!

Words cant describe the beauty of the condo, from the interior to the views it was just amazing. Starting from when you walk in the front door that leads into the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is wonderfully designed with top of the line appliances and a great layout. Off the kitchen and living room is the balcony, The balcony has a very large table that can seat 6 people for a wonderful meal at home with your friends that are staying in the area. And the views from the balcony are some of the best in town, you have a full view of the ocean, which i seen whales on christmas morning, and views of the city and if you never want to leave the condo the traffic is SO much fun to watch when it gets busy and backs up and crazy, it really cracked me up! Also the bedroom has a HUGE bed that is so comfy that you never want to get out of it, but when you do decide to get up and go out the location is great! Your a block from beach and the market is about a block as well. Everything is walking distance from fine dinning to pizza or even the taco stands. There is even a coffee shop right around the corner if you dont want to make it yourself. After a great meal or a cup of coffee, there shopping is in the area too with some great places to shop. Casa Naomi is just a wonderful place to stay and relax and get away from it all. I cant even name all the wonderful things that there is in and around the condo, its just breathtaking and you have to go and see for yourself, you wont be disappointed! I hope to be back VERY SOON!!!

My partner and I rented Casa Naomi for a week and enjoyed our stay. The condo is a short walk to the beach and all of the fun in Old Town. We enjoyed sunning on the terrace while taking in the peekaboo view. The condo was clean and very comfortable. The shower had amazing water pressure (not the norm in Mexico) and all of the creature comforts of home. The pool area is subpar but who cares - go to the beach since that's where all the action is. We had a little snafu with the internet but it was quickly corrected by the property manager (who was very kind and helpful) Definitely go to the little corner store and get the guacamole. Yum!! 4 stars because of the pool but the condo is truly wonderful. We will definitely be staying here again this year! Adios Amigos

We had a great stay this year in November. As this was our first time renting a vacation condo, we were a bit nervous about the whole process, but Chris was very helpful throughout the process and made the experience a very relaxed one. The location is half a block from the beach (you can hear the ocean at night) & walking distance to everything in town. The condo itself has be beautifully decorated and furnished. We will definitely be returning.

The condo is in a great location. Great view, quiet, and comfortable. I would say the only down fall was the pool. The pool is part of a hotel that is not kept up but who needs a pool when you have the ocean one block away. Thank you

I took a trip to Puerto Vallarta by myself and was fortunate enough to stay at this lovely condo!! First impression of Casa Naomi, how spacious and open! Even the photos don't really give you a sense of how open this place is. With views of the city, and views of the ocean, you can't beat a deal like this. I mean, laying in bed I even had a view of the ocean. This place has it all! The layout of this condo is great for a single traveler, a couple, or even a group of 4. The beach is literally steps away. There's a market down the block, and it's located in a great area of town close to restaurants, bars, and shopping. I would totally recommend this condo to a friend, and I plan on returning, this time with a friend or two!

Honeymooners Best Vacation Ever

We certainly enjoyed out stay at Casa Naomi. The owner's attention to detail both in design and providing the 'comforts of home' did not go unnoticed. From the beautiful lilies that stayed in bloom the entire week to the yummy champagne, Chris' consideration and generosity were very much appreciated. Pictures and words cannot justifiably describe how lovely the condo is nor can they speak to its location. There are probably 100 restaurants and shops within a one mile radius. It was no problem finding authentic cuisine and gifts that would otherwise had been an impossible task had we stayed in a tourist trap like the Hotel Zone. And Ricardo's (who provided the keys) assistance with activity planning and professional demeanor were an added bonus, especially for folks who are new to PV and speak very little Spanish. We hope to return on our first anniversary and will recommend to friends and family in the meantime. Chris - thank you for providing such great accommodations, it truly made our vacation! A Magical Place to Stay in PTO

The pictures of of this condo ALMOST do it justice, but to be honest, you just have to be there to fully appreciate the time and care the owner has put into this beautiful apartment. Having a front room/kitchen fully open to the elements thanks to the full-length sliding glass door on the porch really makes this place magical; you almost feel like you're living both outdoors and in a swanky apartment at the same time. And by "swanky" I mean: tastefully decorated, and with a nod to a Mexican interior decorating style, with modern touches mostly in furniture and bathroom appliances. Nothing felt IKEA-cheap, in other words. We felt right at home, honestly. TV, stereo, and even a phone to call the States kept us connected to the "real" world, and while the wi-fi was a little bit persnickety at times, it wasn't a problem. Less than a minute walk from the beach and a sand-front cocktail, less than a five minute walk from a decent small grocery, right around the corner from above-average coffee shops, a chocolate store that stays open late, and less than 20 minutes from anything else you'd want in downtown PTO. It was important for me to be able to cook, and the newly remodeled kitchen did not disappoint. The oven is a little tricky to use (and didn't seem to get that hot, actually), but there is a great little countertop convection oven I used in tandem and had no complaints. I recommend finding the legit fruit/meat markets nearby and spending a night trying to cook something traditionally Mexican, but if that isn't your thing on a vacation, you certainly won't find a lack of food nearby the condo, and if you tire of tortillas, one of the best Indian food restaurants we've been to is just around the block. The owner was incredibly accommodating, very helpful, and quick to reply via email for any of our small needs. All the staff we met in checking in were great in every way. Not only would I recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in PTO, my girlfriend (who became my fiancee on the porch balcony of this condo!) and I actually dreamed of trying to buy this property for ourselves. But until then...happy vacationing!

A Wonderful Experience

I had the pleasure of stayng at Casa Naomi the last week of January and the first week of February. It was a great place to stay and the owner was very helpful in answering all of the questions which I had. The condo is very well equipped for cooking and was very clean. The condo looks exactly like the pictures on the website, so there will be NO surprises. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of storage space for clothes and luggage. The views from the condo are fantastic and a great place to watch people going up and down the street. The availability of a washer and dryer meant you could take fewer clothes with you. I would certainly recommend Casa Naomi to anyone. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Fantastic Vacation

This was by far one of the best vacations ever and Casa Naomi was spectacular. The condo was beautiful with all of the modern conveniences one would expect in a luxury resort. The new kitchen should be on the Home and Garden TV channel! You could seen the ocean from the terrace, and the sounds of the waves greeted you every morning and put you to sleep at night. Casa Naomi is well situated near downtown and was walking distance to everything you need. The listing on VRBO was accurate and the pictures do not even do it justice. The owner was incredibly responsive, helpful and easy to work with. We would give Casa Naomi our highest recommendation and we hope to return soon. We would strongly recommend to our friends and family. Thank you so much for a simply wonderful time in paradise.

The location, style, amenities, view... This place is fabulous. There is plenty of space for two, especially with those patio doors wide open. Cooking at home is a great alternative if you choose. You can travel light with the w&d on site. This is such a wonderful option compared to a hotel room. Absolute comfort! One thing: I am surprised nobody has mentioned the stairs. You need to be fairly able-bodied to traverse in and out of the condo. If you are able - it is worth every step.

This was a little slice of heaven..the views from the terrace are so amazing you never have to leave the property! The sliding glass patio doors truly give the entire condo the feeling of being outside all the time. It was fantastic for getting the sea breezes in the condo every night. And the fact that the property boasts unobstructed sunset views each night truly make the stay unforgettable. Beautifully maintained and just steps to the heart of Zona Romantica, with great shopping, dining and new friends to make. Check-in was so simple. The property manager arrived at the same time we did, giving us a quick tour and keys to our place for the week. We also ran into him at several different times during the week, which was fun and reassuring. In short, I cannot wait to return...It's just a matter of finding time in my schedule!

Casa Naomi is a big reason I continue to return to Vallarta! It beautifully decorated and all the comforts of home. My partner and I spent a week at Casa Naomi in June of 2010 and had the most relaxing and carefree vacation in years. The condo is a dream come true! From the amazing views to the open-air living space, we truly felt like we were in paradise. I fell asleep nightly while sitting out on the terrace, listening to the waves crash along the beach only a block away and the soothing sounds of the neighborhood. The owner of the condo was extremely nice and helpful to work with, making our trip to/from the airport and breeze and even setting us up on a canopy tour in the rain forest. Spectacular! Everyone in the building was super friendly as are the locals. The food can't be beat and it's nice to know you can do a little grocery shopping when you arrive and choose to stay-in and cook in the newly remodeled kitchen which is nicer than ours at home! We can't wait to get back to PV when our schedule allows and we will definitely be staying at Casa Naomi again. We've recommended it to several of our friends and they haven't been disappointed. WOW!!! This is the best place to be while in PVR. It is located near all the best beaches, bars, restaurants, and shopping. We've just returned from our 4th stay at Casa Naomi and have already booked for next year! (see our previous post below). It is an easy walk to some of the best restaurants, bars and shops in the "Zona Romantica". Our favorite beach club (Blue Seas "Bite Me") is less than 5 minutes away. The kitchen and living room open on to a very large terrace that features a wonderful panoramic view of the city and Banderas Bay. A great way to enjoy a cocktail and snack while enjoying some of the best sunsets we've ever experineced. You won't be disappointed. Staff are on hand to deal quickly and efficiently with any issues that may arise. The condo is secure and features security gates and a safe. Can't wait to see the new kitchen! It doesn't get much better than this. The location and price can't be beat!

I stayed here for a week and couldn't have been happier. I was met by someone who showed me around the condo and explained all the features and how to work everything. He left his number in case I needed anything. He also left me a complimentary 6 Pack of beer :) The condo is as nice as the photos and spotlessly clean. The building is very quite and I didn't hear a peep from my neighbours. It's very conveniently located. All the attractions in Old Puerto Vallarta are nearby and the newer parts of the city are a short walk. It has the added benefit of being on a quiet street so there's no noise from traffic or partyers late at night. There are great restaurants right around the corner and a nice convenient food store 1/2 a block away. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Puerto Vallarta.

Great condo in the heart of Old Town steps away from the beach and many great restuarants. The view from the large balcony is truly incredible with gorgeous sunsets - a great spot for entertaining! The on site staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The unit itself is modern and very clean with all the supplies provided that you would require. The owner was very helpful regarding check-in and answering any questions we had. Overall we had a great holiday and attributed that partly to our accommodations. I would totally recommend this unit to anyone wanting a great place to stay for a reasonable rental charge.

Having a kitchen was an amazing advantage, we walked every day to the farmer's market to get fresh tropical produce, there is a fish market very close by also. It's quite hard to write a review that does not repeat what others have already said about their experience while staying at Casa Naomi: the condo is functional, modern, clean, and complete. The location is perfect. The terrace is one of the most fun places to eat and drink, watch people, enjoy the sunsets, and have fun. The owner and the managemnt staff are a delight and easiest to work with. In summary, my experience at Casa Naomi has always been AWESOME!. My family and I stayed at Casa Naomi this last winter. It was beyond what I expected! Everything was so beautiful, and the outdoor terrace was amazing! Having the view and being only a block from the beach made the location perfect. This was out second time to Puerto Vallarta. The downtown, romantic zone, is by far our favorite part of town. Being able to stay in this location allowed us to be within walking distance to everything we love. We definitely plan to stay again :)

I stayed at Casa Naomi for a full week in August. It was honestly one of the best vacations of my life. Casa Naomi is located close to everything, but still offers you a sense of seclusion. The very open (and well appointed) living room and kitchen offers you wonderful views of the beach and sunset. It honestly feels as though most of the condo is an outdoor patio, but with ample privacy. Being only one block from the beach means you can sit out at Blue Chairs (one of my favorite spots) for part of the day then return to the condo to relax while the sun reaches its peak before returning to the sand later in the day. The service at Casa Naomi is great, the condo is impeccable, and the location couldn't be better. I'm already booked for a return visit in May!

I stayed at Casa Naomi for a week in August and thought the place was great. The way the units are stacked diagonally into the hillside allows for an open floorplan where the living space feels like a balcony throughout. The proximity to the beach, blue chairs in particular, is also ideal. The condo was very clean and nicely appointed, the views were killer and the service top notch too. I had a great time and am returning to Casa Naomi in May!

OOhhhh we just returned home from another great trip in Mexico!!! We stayed at Casa Naomi and though it looks great in the photos, walking into the openess of the place for the first time really is stunning!! We loved the location which is walking distance to everything we wanted to see or do in old town and downtown. The sunsets from our own private balcony could'nt be beat. It was quiet and relaxing and we were hard pressed to leave. When we want to stay right in town this will be our first choice! The condo was perfect for us. We loved the floor plan and never shut the glass "wall", but enjoyed the indoor/outdoor connection between the kitchen, living room, dining room and sundeck where we could eat and lounge and read with the great view of Banderas Bay. The hard surfaces--tile floors and countertops--are really nice. The bathrooms likewise were well done. We walked to the beach, to town and all along the Malecon from this location. We would definitely stay at Casa Naomi again.

I just want to say what a GREAT CONDO. It is updated with all the amenities you could ever need and is in the perfect location. It sits over the Ocean and within walking distance to all the places to eat, shop and the nightlife. I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for a place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. The pictures don't really show how nice the accommodations or the views really are. The owner is very easy to work with and very friendly. We will be staying again at Christmas and New Years.

We've just returned from our 3rd stay at Casa Naomi (formerly Casa Serena) and have already booked for next year! The location could not be any better. It is an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and bars. The kitchen and living room open on to a very large terrace that features a wonderful panoramic view of the Zona Romantica and Banderas Bay. You won't be disappointed. The new owner has updated the furniture, and added a flat screen TV and iPod dock. Be prepared for some noise that rises up from the streets below, but know that you can close up the bedroom windows and doors and block out most sounds. We find the street sounds add to the charm of this wonderful condo. The condo is secure and features security gates and a safe. We have had no issues at all with safety. The owner is pleasant and very easy to reach. It doesn't get much better than this!
