Excellent beds, a fully equipped kitchen with all the staples, a new bathroom and comfort plus elegance. As for convenience -- a drawer full of maps and guides, plenty of extra linen, the subway less than two blocks away and the cross-street offering all kinds of food and drink. Both the apartment and the neighbourhood were quiet and clean, spacious and friendly. Hats off to you, Dana and Mark – it’s a great place to come home to.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+, romantic getaway.

As advertised... and more. Perfect location only minutes from public transit and less than 15 minutes to many of our must-see destinations. Mark and Dana were a pleasure to deal with from the the first e-mail to the final farewell. They gave us lots of great tips and guidance and were very accommodating throughout our stay. If felt like it was our home-away-from-home in NYC. We would highly recommend this property. We stayed in the downstairs flat with 2 bedrooms + pull-out. It was just the right size for our family of five (3 young adults). Very comfortable and very well maintained.

We have stayed in this amazing apartment twice in the past year and have had incredible, happy and amazing experiences here both times! The owners are super friendly and helpful, and the apartment is gorgeous- a beautiful retreat in a interesting and welcoming neighborhood. The location is mere blocks from multiple subway and bus lines- and your trip to anywhere in Manhattan will be quick. This has become our "home in Harlem" and we can't wait to get to come back again. We stayed here once with our children (7 and 10), and once with our best friends- and it was perfect for both. I would recommend this apartment enthusiastically for groups of 4 or fewer.

Our stay in the Strivers Row condo was very enjoyable indeed. The listing and photos were accurate, but we were delighted at how nice the home was when we saw it in person. It was beautifully furnished and appointed. We lacked for nothing and the opportunity to stay in an historic building and neighborhood was everything we'd hoped it would be. The owners could not have been more friendly and helpful - more like friends on whose expert advice for restaurants and sightseeing were welcomed and first-rate, We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone wishing to stay in such an historical,vital, and interesting part of New York.
