    I reserved this for 10 of my sorority sisters and myself. It was perfect for a girls getaway. 4 Days in Gruene, TX and the Yellow Haus with Annabelle's Suite was more than we expected. Plenty of room, great backyard, perfect atmosphere. Looking forward to getting together with the girls again and making this an annual event.

    Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

    Our vacation was truly one to remember! Our family of eight plus my sister and her grandson spent a relaxing week tubing, shopping, eating and socializing with the perfect "home base" (Gruene's Yellow Haus). The children LOVED the fenced in back yard and the big boys played horseshoes, washers and grilled up a storm. We were in walking distance of wonderful shops, a winery and awesome food and music. The house was well furnished with comforts of home and we lacked for nothing! We will definitely be back to this little slice of paradise in Texas!

    Just spend a great weekend celebrating my husband's 50th birthday at the Yellow Haus and Annabel's Suite. The house is lovely - just like in the pictures and even nicer than we expected. Six couples slept comfortably, and walked to shopping, swimming in the river, dining and great shows at Gruene Hall both nights. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals, and we enjoyed relaxing on the back patio and front porch as well. The owners were accessible for questions and very helpful. We will add this to our list of great experiences with VRBO properties. I hope to be back next year!

    This place is so awesome! Plenty of space, cozy and automatically has that home effect when you walk through the door. So close to everything in Gruene and I hope I get to stay here again! Great owner that takes great care of his property and so nice. I recommend this place to everyone! Thanks again!

    Our stay at the Yellow Haus was wonderful! There was plenty of room for all 12 of us without feeling cramped and the house itself was very accommodating. Everything we needed was there. We loved the short walk to downtown Gruene for dinner. Overall it was a great place to stay!

    2Our girls weekend was absolutely perfect. The Yellow Haus was within easy walking distance to everything in Gruene. The house was clean, comfortable and the owners were accessible if we had questions. I would definitely recommend the yellow house to one and all. Gloria bauernfeind

    We are a group of Moms/Friends who love to float the river each year at the end of August when our kids go back to school. The Yellow Haus was perfect for us! Plenty of room, very nice amenities and we could walk right in to Gruene to go to the wineries, shops and restaurants. We were literally just down the road. It was a perfect place to spend a few days. Gruenes Yellow Haus will be our choice for next years trip!

    My family spent the week of July 12, 2010 at Gruene's Yellow Haus and thoroughly enjoyed everything about this very nice rental property. This home is over 100 years old but is fitted with all the luxuriesand amenities of modern times. Our group of 9 had plenty of space and comfort. This is our second year to rent from this owner and will continue to do so in the future. The owners are very accommodating and make sure that everything suits your needs. The close proximity (walking distance) to the Historic downtown Gruene with its fine restruants, shops, and the Guadalupe River was very nice. We also rented AnnaBelle's Suite that is adjacent to Yellow Haus for family visitors during that week. The Suite was a great plus for the extra space and convenience. We highly recommend this property to anyone vacationing or just visiting in the New Braunfels and Gruene areas.

    July 4th weekend 2010, Courtneys group came back again and loved it just as much as we did in 2009. We cant wait to come back again soon.

    What a beautiful house! We are so excited to be a part of your 1st anniversary, since this is our familys 5th year coming to gruene for Memorial weekend. Your Home is a perfect place for a family reunion and we enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks again!
