Just returned from a weekend at side B---it was fantastic!!! My husband and I along with our youngest son and his wife spent the weekend here. The cabin setting was lovely with a great view of the river in a peaceful location. It was well stocked, very clean and had everything we could have asked for. The cabin is in a good location, as it is close to town, restaurants, the caverns, etc. Brenda was easy to deal with and always answered her phone with a quick response to our questions. We definitely plan on returning to enjoy this place and would highly recommend it anyone. All of our Cajun friends want to come and along with all the crawfish, gumbo and boudin we need for our next stay. Brenda, thanks for ordering up such ideal weather, we enjoyed a low of 50 and the highs were only in the mid 70's

There is more to this house than the photo's show. We rented both sides of the house and it was perfect for us. Our group encluded 5 couples, we all agreed the layout allowed us to have our own space, yet come together without being on top of each other. Both kitchens are well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, family games, movies, ping pong table, yard games, etc... We all loved sitting out on the back porch looking out over the White River. It is close enough to resturants, grocery stores, gas stations, fishing and entertainment. We are planning on returning at least once a year however, I will be asking for an extended check out time, hated having to leave by 10 am.

Owner response: Sabrina, I'm so glad that your group had such a great time at our cabin. In the future, just check with me prior to your arrival, and if we don't have guests checking in on your departure day, we are flexible on the check out time. We have that time set up for back to back rentals in order to give the cleaning people time to get the cabin cleaned. We look forward to your next stay. Thanks, Brenda
This cabin was large and beautiful and the area is very peaceful. Plenty of room, they are not exaggerating on the 16-20 people. We didn't have that many but we could have fit them. We had lovely weather and used the charcoal grill and the porch. We hiked, swam (Blanchard Springs and Greers Ferry), fished, shopped, and went horseback riding. The Ozark's are very pretty but everything is a drive. If you are looking to come to this area, I highly recommend this cabin!

Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: My husband and I live in Little Rock and are building contractors. We also have a cattle farm but love spending time at the White River. We love to relax and enjoy the local music and shopping; my husband is a dominoe player and has found a group he enjoys playing with in Mt. View. The people are great! We like to take in the local high school basketball games when we can.
Why the Owner Chose Mountain View:
We think the mountains are beautiful and the area just has a lot to offer. It's laid back and rustic but has shopping, shows, music and many other things to do. There are lots of festivals throughout the year as well. For us, it's far enough away for relaxing, yet not so far that we have to spend a lot of time driving.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
We enjoy the large space we have; when we have family and friends along, there's plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. We can sit on the back porch drinking coffee and watching the fishing boats drift by for hours. Reading in the hammock is another favorite activity.
