The cabana is located in the quiet, but meantime lively, little neighborhood, called Saigon. Do you want to know what life is like in Panama's Paradise? The cabana is surrounded by lots of trees and tropical plants. Fairly hidden in your hammock you'll enjoy the numerous visits of the hummingbirds to the garden while some local chickens wander around. Also you can witness the daily activities that take place in the lives of the local people living around you. You might be offered to buy a lottery ticket. And make sure not to miss out on the real Panamanian “raspao”, a shaved ice with choice of different flavours.
Bikes are the most common way of transportation on the island. To make your experience as local as possible, we include two Banana Beach Cruiser Bikes with your stay in Saigoncito.
The town beach at la Cabana is around the corner and you're just a short bike-ride away from Bocas town. In five minutes you reach town to do your daily shopping, go on a day tour or go out at night.
To make you feel completely at home in Panama's Paradise, Saigoncito has a fully equipped kitchen, wireless internet, cable TV and the bathroom has a warm water shower.

Hi there!
Almost seven years ago, I arrived to Bocas and immediately fell in love with the islands. After a year I moved to a little Caribbean Cabana (Saigoncito 1)located in the neighbourhood "Saigon". A very lively and local little area. I loved it so much and knew ever since the beginning that one day it would be mine...
I found out that I realy like decoration houses, but in one little cabana at some point your doen decorating. I needed more cabanas...
I went to Holland, to see if any bank would lend me the money. They didn't, but like buying a winning lottery ticket, I found myself a business partner on my cousins birthday party! The best party of my life!
Together we bought Saigoncito 1 and 2. And rented Rafael's House on Isla Bastimentos. Now we also rent Saigoncito 3 and 4 and I got the chance to fix them up. These two apartments are ready now, but I still want to extend and keep on decorating. So, right now, I am working on Saigoncito 5 and 6. In two months from now we can accomodate ten couples.

Why the Owner Chose Bocas del Toro
The cabana came on my path. I loved it ever since the first sight. While living there, I got to know the peolpe lving around in the area. It is so nice and tranquil here. But at the same time there is always something going on. Peolpe going out to work, or comming back. Always an army of children playing outside, with whatever it is they got themselfs into. Just a very friendly and warm area. I wouldn't change it for anything.
