Why the Owner Chose Borrego Springs
I originally bought the casita as a place to work in a peaceful, quiet environment and actually lived in it for awhile. It was the perfect place.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
I love the quiet and the light that comes with my casita. It is one of a few casitas that does not border on a street.

My wife and i spent four nights in this modest, lovely house near a cute town and a major desert state park. The house was well-furnished, clean, and comfortable. Gorgeous sunrise and sunset views.

This casita was perfect for us from the first contact with the owner through our wrap-up after the stay. The unit itself is as described except that being in it day after day is even more delightful than can be conveyed in writing. it felt like home the minute we arrived. Furnishings and amenities are first class, comfortable, immaculate. The surroundings are quiet and picturesque with fine plantings and desert scapes. Every morning we looked out the bedroom window as the sun rose over the far hills. The glow went from soft lavender to brilliant reds and oranges. Against this color were the silhouettes of tall palms. Borrego is "serious lazy" - meaning there is always time to talk, to ask questions, to amble and enjoy each moment. The natural surroundings are very evident and offer amazing sights seen few other places in the US. PLUS engaging with the owner of this property is an added bonus to the whole experience.

We came to hike in Anza-Borrego and we left with many more memories of this delightful casita! We loved staying here. This casita has an open feel, is well decorated and is spotless. It's location makes both the town and the park easy to access. It is a quiet and serene oasis with out of this world landscaping, a variety of desert birdsong and a local Roadrunner that zipped by off and on trying to dodge my camera. And I enjoyed it all sitting on the patio of this fabulous casita. A bonus is the stunning sunrise/sunset views just out the door. I would return in a heartbeat.

The pictures don't do this darling casita justice. Everything is tastefully designed, supremely comfortable and meticulously clean. The homes in this little community blend into the natural environment and have a charming old-world feel, despite their modern construction. The setting is very serene and quiet, and it provided just the peaceful retreat I was looking for. Borrego has much to offer for those who love the desert and nature but who would prefer to avoid the over-hyped or touristy feel of other inland destinations; the town has a relaxed, small-town feel, and the rugged beauty of the landscape remains the star attraction. Cynthia is absolutely wonderful to work with, and I am very grateful to her for all her help in making my getaway absolutely everything I'd hoped it would be.

We just finished our trip today and this casita was fantastic! It met all our needs for our annual get-away weekend with about 20 friends. Great size, especially for two adults and afforded us our privacy when not with the group. Casita is fully equipped and owner was a gem; couldn't have been easier to work with and everything was clean and ready for us when we walked in the door! We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend and plan to do it all over again next year!

We recently stayed at the condo. Everything was great: very clean, nice furnishings, and a perfect location. Cynthia gave us recommendations for restaurants and great hiking ideas. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen was really well equipped. We did have a couple of breakfasts and lunches on the patio. The area has beautiful landscaping and the condo is completely quiet. Highly recommended.
