This condominium deserves the five stars. What makes it excellent? In my opinion, this condo is super-clean, well furnished, many amenities (laundry, air-conditioning, flat screen televisions, balcony overlooking the ocean, quiet, good pool, upscale furniture and appliances.) The rental apartment building itself has good parking facilities also. The condo is situated near many attractions -- historical, shopping, convenience of small grocery stores, beaches, boardwalk, fishing piers and restaurants. There is something for everyone. My husband and I particularly appreciated the details that are all worked out by the owner. There are few questions that are not answered promptly. Visitors will enjoy this restful place. Look at the photos, they are all accurate as to the rental's appearance and will give you a truthful indication of the place. If you are looking for a spacious one bedroom apartment that is well-maintained and care-free, this is the place for you.

We visited Carolina Beach with our 16-month-old daughter for 5 days in May. The condo was perfect - spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, conveniently located, loaded with all the comforts of home. The weather was wonderful, the beach was gorgeous, the view from the balcony was spectacular, and everyone we encountered was so friendly! This was the perfect relaxing vacation for our family. We will definitely be back to this awesome condo!

My wife & I were in North Carolina to look at condos for future retirement and we set up 11 to see on one day. None of the condos we saw even came close to this one. They have thought of everything you would need on vacation and provided it. Basicly you just have to bring clothes and food. We felt we were looking at an H G T V episode and we were in it. The decor is set to remind you that this is the beach and it is right in front of you. We recommend going down to the beach, take a left & down a few steps is the " Tiki Bar " It is on the Pier with great music & resonably priced food. Another good take is " Freddies " in Kure Beach which has the greatest italian food. Only go there if you are real hungry. Everyone has to have a donut from " Brits " down on the Boardwalk. They only sell one kind and after you taste it you know why they survive on one. Cafe Phoenix in downtown Wilimington is a great place to eat and sip on wine and people watch. For a whopping $ 5 you can take your car over to Southport on the Ferry and enjoy a great lunch at " Provisions " If you don't want to have coffee on the deck with the sound of waves in front of you we suggest the " Grind " in Carolina Beach 2 minutes away. You can have a cup of coffee and catch up on back home news with their Free Wifi We highly recommend staying here and will indeed return

This oceanfront condo is simply stunning. It is tastefully decorated, well-appointed, and clean. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Carolina Beach, mostly because of our wonderful accommodations. The owners have taken the guesswork out of where we're going to stay in the future when we travel to Carolina Beach. 20-B Sea Colony! It was a pleasure dealing with the owners. We enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay. The condo was everything we were told and more... perfect condition, great furnishings, and a very nice view. Breakfast across the street at Granny's was a fun and delicious. We brought it back to eat on the balcony one morning. Perfect for a little time away from the kids.

We enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay on Carolina Beach. Doug's condo was everything we were told and more... perfect condition, great furnishings, a good view, and Granny's Cafe across the street. Less than 20 minutes to Wilmington golf courses and music on the pier just 100 yards up the beach. Breakfast on the balcony was nice.

I had the pleasure of spending a week in this beautiful condo while vacationing in Carolina Beach with my mother and boyfriend. Not only did we enjoy the wonderful beach atmosphere, but also coming back every night to this peaceful and comfortably decorated home. The owners had everything prepared for us prior to our arrival, including providing clean linens, dishes, detergents, and a wonderful welcome packet recommending favorite local spots to visit. We were impressed with both the size and quality of the property, which is a fully renovated one bedroom with gorgeous hardwood floors and plasma televisions in both the living room and bedroom. The condo also includes a brillantly built in daybed that offers plenty of sleeping room for a third occupant. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a home away from home while on vacation. The owners are extremely responsive to questions and requests and made the rental process very easy.

We stayed in this charming condo for just under a week and enjoyed all that it had to offer. It was decorated EXACTLY like the pictures, so it was nice not to be surprised by something different than we had expected. It had everything we were hoping it would have and the location couldn't be beat! It was spotless, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. It is on the second story and would not be good for someone with bad hips/knees or in a wheelchair. It is also RIGHT on the pool, which wasn't what we had expected. The main bedroom is on the road side of the condo, so it was loud all night. Monday is garbage day, so be aware that Monday morning will be loud due to the garbage truck!! The property itself earned five suitcases, but the town of Carolina Beach would earn two-to-three suitcases. It was over-priced and just average. We weren't impressed with many of the over-priced restaurants, and there are a million people everywhere you go. I think we'd have a better opinion if we went during the fall/winter and not during the peak of August. Overall, I would recommend this property to a friend. The condo is great, it's just the city of CB that lacks a lot. I will say that it's close to Wilmington and just an hour away from Myrtle Beach, SC. The owner was wonderful to work with and was very caring about how our stay was.

This condo is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The owners are a joy to deal with and they have done everything that you can possibly think of to make their guests have a comfortable stay. The condo is even more spacious in person than it looks in the pictures. It is a great place to stay for families with young children. The Sea Colony complex is well maintained and very family friendly.

Fabulous, Beautiful, Comfortable... Doug & Ashley you really did an amazing job on the condo! Loved it! The condo is beautiful & comfortable, the views are amazing... Has everything you can ask for and more for an oceanfront rental... Fabulous place to stay, a clean sparking pool, well kept grounds & of course the beach & ocean! You can walk to things, plenty to do if you choose in the area, & great places to eat & relax if you don't feel like cooking in the awesome kitchen! This condo was by far the nicest beach condo I have ever stayed in, and I've headed to the beach for vacation for many years! Everything is so fresh and clean, and the owners have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay at their home fabulous! I can't say enough positive things about this condo and all the location/area has to offer! I could do as much or as little as I wanted to. I had the most peaceful, relaxing week! Be sure to order breakfast from Granny's (across the street) and bring it back to the condo to enjoy breakfast each morning out on the fabulous balcony!

I vacation at the beach each year, and this condo is by far the nicest beach condo I have ever stayed in. This area has so much to offer - of course, the fabulous beach area, many wonderful restaurants, many sight-seeing opportunities, etc. The condo itself is so fresh and clean, and the owners have gone to great lengths to provide absolutely everything possible to make your stay perfect! I highly recommend ordering breakfast from Granny's Restaurant (right across the street) and bringing it back to the condo to enjoy on the balcony each morning - it's such a relaxing atmosphere - the balcony is quite large with a wonderful bistro table and lounge, and the waves crashing into shore is so peaceful. It's the perfect area to watch surfers, and we saw several dolphins during our time on the balcony. I can't say enough positive things about this particular condo and vacationing spot. It was a week filled with rest, relaxation, and peace!

My husband and I visited Carolina Beach for the first time early April. This condo sure sets the bar very high. The attention to detail and care that went into this condo is evident from the moment you set foot in the door. You will enjoy every moment you spend here. I know we did. And I bet Wow is the first thing that you say when you open the door for the first time. The place is better then described.
