If you really want to bathe yourself in a true San Francisco experience, a funky Victorian is what you need! This charming flat has period details throughout, including vintage doorknobs and light fixtures, hardwood floors, and real Wedgewood stove. Comfy queen size four poster bed and faux fireplace in bedroom. Step outside to the garden with big stainless steel BBQ and teak furniture. Dinner al fresco, anyone? Alternately, the enclosed porch is used as a dining room, with peek-a-boo views of the Bay. Great morning light, and a perfect place to have your AM coffee. Full size washer and dryer, too!
The location is a perfect blend of convenient and QUIET. Close to everything, but on a sleepy little street where you can refresh and prepare for your next day of sightseeing.
Noe Valley is one of San Francisco's most desirable neighborhoods. Known for it’s walk ability, grand old homes, and some of the city’s best weather. Walk to tons of independent shops and restaurants. Italian, Chinese, Sushi, Peruvian, Mexican, Korean or Classic American Bistro… whatever you’re hungry for is right down the street. Walk to Noe’s 24th Street shopping district, or to Church Street’s “Gourmet Gulch”.
Nearby public transportation will take you anywhere in the city you want to go. The 24/Divisadero line is just a block and a half away, and takes you to the Castro, NOPA, or all the way up to Pacific Heights. The J-Church rail line (.5 miles away) takes you by Dolores Park, and then goes all the way Downtown or to the Embarcadero – with no transfers! Seriously, if you want public transit to anywhere from AT&T Park to the Zoo to Union Square, you’re set! Parking is also very easy on this street, so if you’re driving you should have no trouble finding a space.
This home is located on one of the steeper hills that San Francisco is famous for, so please keep that in mind if you have any special needs. It’s downhill to catch the bus or hit 24th street, and uphill on the way back.
You will smile every day when you return to the yellow house on Castro, and will be comfy and cozy every night!

The weather is some of the sunniest in the city. Although the house is close to everything, the street itself is SO peaceful and quiet. I love it!
