Completely reconstructed, this Renaissance flat offers a modern bath and kitchen with all modern conveniences. Preserving the spirit of the Renaissance without sacrificing your comfort. The living room is spacious and elegant. Parquet floors, 12 foot ceilings, carefully restored trim and windows everywhere provide a light and airy sense of comfort on a very quiet street.
The flat is just a wonderful few minutes walk to some of the most interesting sites in Prague, including, the Castle and The Charles Bridge.
Cobblestoned, gaslight, winding streets will charm you. The house is entered through massive ancient door leading you to the circular stone steps. Deep-set windows, thick walls and vaulted ceilings contribute to the ancient romance of this flat.
This house was occupied by the Keeper of the Seals for the Emperor Rudolf II.

Built on Gothic foundations from the 13th century, the house was constructed during the reign of the Holy Roman Emperor, Charles IV (1316 to 1378).
In 1541, fire destroyed the entire quarter of Mala Strana. In the kitchen, remains of the charred walls can be seen in a section that has been left un-restored. Thereafter, the house was rebuilt in the style of the Renaissance.
Next to the Castle, the house was occupied by dignitaries of the kingdom. Notably, the Keeper of the Seals for Rudolf II (1652 to 1612). At the end of the Thirty Years War, 1648, Austrian aristocracy replaced the Czechs.
By the 19th century, the area had lost it's significance.
