We arrived trusting the internet to have provided accurate information, which it did and more. The location in Southwestern France was a major attraction but once there, we were reluctant to leave the haven that Ken, the owner has created. Mornings were spent going to the local markets, buying magnificent fresh produce and breads, coming back armed with bottles of local wines in our baskets, and then languidly enjoying it all for the rest of the day by the pool and in the glorious gardens of Rhone Retreat. We were a group of 6 who stayed in the Reece Cluse and Corner Cottages, both lovingly renovated by Ken and helpers. We each sampled a massage from our host in his studio with warm southern air blowing through the open windows -- a treat for sure. I feel some reluctance to share this gem as we plan to return again this year and want to keep it our private hideaway but our gratitude to Ken takes precedence.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
