This is a long overdue review of this apartment. I stayed here in November 2011. It fit my needs perfectly. I love the neighborhood; it's especially great after you been-there-done-that and want to see another side of Paris. The apartment sits on a quiet side street and overlooks a communal garden. It's well-equipped and clean. I'd love to stay here again.

Lovely apartment. I stayed with my husband & 2 teenager daughters who slept on the sofa bed & said it was very comfortable. The apartment was clean and well-maintained with everything we needed. The owner was very helpful & we really enjoyed our visit to Paris. I have recommended the apartment to all my friends and would love to return as it is in a lovely street in a great location

The apartment was exactly as describe, a charming apartment on a lovely street with all the conveniences, a nearby market, shops, metro, buses and comfortable beds, to make it an ideal home base in Paris . The apartment was stocked with tour books, maps as well as a few basics to get us going. One of the best features were the lovely owners. Warmly greeted , they provided us with neighborhood information and were available throughout our stay to answer our silly questions I can’t wait to come back next year..
Owner response:Thank you

This was a charming, fully equipped, very clean apartment. The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable and there was free phone service to the US as well as internet access. The location was great--close to transportation and good restaurants including The Bottle pub a few doors away which served a wonderful Sunday brunch. The owners of the apartment were very helpful and accessible (they live nearby) and .went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. I would certainly recommend this apartment to friends and relatives. My friend and I were there in January for two weeks but I would love to visit again in warm weather and have breakfast on that little balcony!

The apartments location was ideal for us with a one year old daughter, close to parks and great markets close by. Easy to get anywhere from using the underground. Julie was so helpful and was available to answer any questions. The apartment is homely and in a safe location. It is appointed with everything that we needed with a great travel library. Thankyou!

Most comfortable and convenient. Old-fashioned but weather-tightened French windows let in plenty of sun. The open space to the east and a shady garden on the west give a sense of privacy and quiet. From the balcony you look down on the short street, usually busier with people and bicycles than with cars. The owners live and work just down the street, love their quartier, and will suggest favorite places if you ask. Clean and bright, furnished simply but well, new plumbing and paint, a shelf of useful books, easy wifi, phone, etc. The kitchen is tiny but the fridge, stove, microwave, and electric kettle work fine. Perfect size for a couple (tho the foldout bed is very comfortable, there’s not much room to maneuver when it’s open). Ledru-Rollin metro is two blocks away; the 86 bus to St.Germain even closer. You get to Bastille along bustling Faubourg St Antoine or the picturesque Rue de Charonne, both historic, interesting walks. The neighborhood is full of all ages of people, plenty of shops and popular restaurants very nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed it for two weeks in March--and think it would work well for an even longer stay.

This apartment is a true gem. For starters, the beds in this tidy and well appointment apartment (even the sofa bed) were extremely comfortable. Add to that minimal street noise allowed us heavenly sleeps every night. The apartment is located in an area not heavily touristed which we appreciated at the same time close to the center and main sites of Paris. We walked to the fantastic local market in the morning- saw the sites of Paris in the afternoon and returned home each evening to one of the many great restaurants just steps from our door. We had been to Paris many times before but the charm and ease of this apartment allowed us to see the city in a new light. We loved that the owners had stocked the shelves with Paris guidebooks - all were used by us. I would not hesitate to recommend this cute apartment. A really good way to visit a fabulous city.

We stayed at this apartment for 8 days in eary February. It was the perfect place for a stay in Paris as it's located on a quiet side street but still is only a five-minute walk from the Ledru Rollin metro stop and 10 from the Bastille stop. The bed was comfortable, the location convenient, and it was warm on some very cold days. if you plan to make some of your own meals, it's also very close to grocery stores, and better yet, about five minutes from the Marche d'Aligre food markets. You really couldn't ask for a better place. We hope to return.
