Description:
This is a second floor two bedroom Condo just 1.3 miles from the ocean. This 2000+ acre resort includes three championship courses by Dan Maples, Rees Jones and Willard Byrd. There are several dozen more golf courses within short driving distance (3-4 within 1-2 miles).
The villa includes three activity areas. The conversation and TV (27") viewing area accesses the balcony and has a large picture window overlooking the Maples 18th green. The dining area has a large bay window overlooking the 10th Tee. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a serving counter and bar stools. The master bedroom has two queen size beds and 25 inch TV with a separate entrance to the villa's full size bathroom.
The 2nd bedroom has two full size beds, its own mini kitchen, full bath, bay window sitting area, 25 inch TV separate entrance with doorway connection to the villa. This design makes a perfect experience for a large family or two couples, even with small children. Just close the door connecting the adjoining foyers for instant privacy in two self contained units.
Sea trail Amenities. In addition to its three championship golf courses, Sea Trail has many other amenities listed above. The best is that Sea trail is a short drive or bike ride (1.3 miles) across the salt marsh and Intracoastal Waterway to Sunset Beach. This barrier island is as clean and lovely an ocean beach as you will find, with plenty of room to spread out along its three mile length. As the town's web site says, "it is everything that a family beach should be". And, the southern end merges with Bird Island, a several mile long bird and turtle sanctuary - a beautiful stroll or lazy bike ride along the breaking waves! And great surf fishing and surfing!
The region: This is a wonderful low key, family oriented respite from the "Big World" yet it's so near one the most fun loving, entertainment capitals of the country - MYRTLE BEACH, listed as a top 5 and top 10 destination by USA Today, Yahoo Travel, AAA, ASK and Golf Digest. North Myrtle Beach is just 15 miles done the road. Also, you're just 40 miles south of Wilmington, NC. This charming port city is located between the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean. Don't miss the ferry to Bald Head Island.
One of our favorite activities is back at Sunset Beach. Before a late dinner at home or at one of the many fine restaurants, bring some cheese, crackers and beverage down to the beach to watch the sun set behind the lonely, rolling dunes. Then you'll know how the beach it got its name! It doesn't get any more relaxing than this!
