This cabin is suitable for 2 adults over 25. It is completely non-smoking and pets are not permitted due to allergies. Maximum occupancy is 2. Sorry, no exceptions. Rentals available May through November, weather depending.
This newly renovated cabin rental is in the very beautiful Northeast corner of Pennsylvania, in the peaceful community of Lake Lorain. Lake Lorain is a 55 acre non-motor boating lake. The cabin is situated on 75 feet of lake front and, as lake properties go, it is more private than most.
It is a perfect getaway for relaxation. This is rural at its best: farms and fields and five miles to a convenience store.
A one minute walk brings you to the golf course and full-service restaurant and bar. The Lake Lorain community maintains a quiet atmosphere, respectful of the environment and each other. It is not a “party” community.
RECREATION AREAS:
Florence Shelly Preserve, part of the Nature Conservancy, is a 357-acre Preserve and home to many thriving species of plant, animal and bird life.
Rail-Trails of NE PA: Enjoy local historic rail beds refurbished as recreational trails for biking, hiking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing.
Merli Sarnoski Park:The 840 acre park with woods and a fish stocked mountain lake, offers hiking and biking trails, swimming, and picnic areas.
Lackawanna State Park: A beautiful 1,411-acre park with a 198-acre lake and modern recreational facility, offering year round activities.
