Townhouse (181-G) is located near the end of the eighteen townhouses in the cove. You will find excellent fishing in one of the best largemouth bass fishing lakes in GA where fishing tournaments are held often. Private pool for townhouse guests on the premises. I am a retired teacher and administrator from Fort Stewart, Ga. School System. I work part-time for a State University System as a Supervisor of Student Teachers. I love gardening and reading. I also enjoy traveling and the scenic views around middle and north Ga.
Why the Owner Chose Other Lake Oconee Properties
I have owned several vacation rental lake townhouses but this location primarily drew my attention because my other lake townhouses were on lakes that the water level fluctuated according to the dams that controlled the amount of water that was let out into other lakes. They were often very low. Because the lake is part of the Ga. Power hydro-electric system, the level is controlled and fluctuates little during the year. I also liked Carriage Cove because it is near many shopping areas and this area is newly developed and landscaped. The Ritz Carlton Lodge and the Reynolds Plantation were big influences in the area. Also, a new spotlight movie theater with a club level and various new restaurants were a positive factor.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
I enjoy decorating the townhouse and constantly making improvements. The lake and dock make it easy to keep a jet ski for my daughter and her friends to enjoy. I enjoy the Ritz Carlton with its may lights and gingerbread house at Christmas. Also, there are many historic tour of homes in nearby towns and Renolds Plantation tour of homes in October. I also go into Atlanta for shopping and Six Flags over Georgia for the children. Athens is a short distance to attend University of Georgia football games. Augusta is not over an hour drive to the Masters in early April.
