Welcome Vacationers!! We invite you to share our adorable Maine island home. It's located yards off Lowell's cove on picturesque Orrs Island. Lowell's cove features several small beaches and rock outcrops that are perfect for finding all sorts of surprises such as crabs, snails and sea glass. Just minutes down the road is Bailey Island, known for Lands End and its historic cribstone bridge.
Our home itself is nestled in the woods and features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath downstairs, the master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom boasts 2 twins. The bathroom also houses the laundry facilities. The second floor boasts full hardwood floors and hosts the living room, full kitchen with stainless steel professional grade appliances and dining area all in one beautiful open space with peeking ocean views. The upstairs is flooded with natural light through the skylights and large windows. We offer a large HDTV with satellite programming for those times when weather or desire keeps you indoors. There's also free high speed wireless internet available throughout the house. We added a tranquil perennial garden, natural stone walkway, huge 8 foot picnic table, fire pit, and a brand new lawn this spring!
Shopping at L.L. Bean and all the outlets at Freeport is about 20 miles away. There are kayak rentals available on Orrs and Bailey Island. If you have the proper license you can fish off the rocks a very short walk down the road. There is no ferry required to access the island, there is only a short bridge between Orrs and the mainland.
Once you visit this little slice of heaven I assure you you'll want to come back again and again!

Nicole and I met while we were both whitewater raft guides in Northwestern Maine in 2003. We have 2 awesome kids, A.J.-4, Adrianna-2 , and 2 dogs. We are 100% committed to providing the most peaceful and enjoyable time possible for you while you are staying at our lovely Maine vacation home. Being a veteran of 2 foreign military campaigns I have a special place in my heart for other veterans, so please be sure to tell us if you're military member or veteran for special rates.

Thank you so much for introducing us to Maine. We had a most memorable week. Use of your cottage was just what we needed as we explored the surrounding area during the day. Everything just as described. Communication prior to and during our stay was great. We had such Maine withdrawl upon arriving home...

We spent 4 nights here and really enjoyed our time. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We spent the mornings walking around the area and exploring, and the afternoons/evenings in Portland and the surrounding areas. It was a great way to kick off the summer for us.
