Cozy Cabin get away in the woods of the Beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains, with rooms to suit everyone. Bring the family or a group of friends. One large master bedroom with a king size bed. The second is a recreation/tv/game room with two futon beds. There is a bunk room with double size bunk beds. And a Shabby Chic "Rose" room perfect for the feminine one in the group.
The "gathering room" equipped with a wonderful rock fireplace is a favorite to cuddle up next to with a glass of wine and some soft tunes on the CD player and view the beautiful outdoors. There is a large front yard with a deck, gas grill, firepit and picnic table. During the summer, there is room in the yard to park extra vehicles, a boat, etc.
Cabin is up the road from Grand Lake which is the largest natural lake in Colorado and the snow mobile capital of Colorado. Three miles from the historic town of Grand Lake with great shops, and restaurants. Only 20 minutes to Sol Vista Ski Area and 40 minutes to Winter Park. Also close to Hot Sulpher Natural Springs pools.

My family and I stayed at this cabin for a week in July 2011 and only have positive things to say. The owner was very helpful in arranging the visit, and the location was very quiet and close to the village of Grand Lake if you wanted to go to town, and close to Rocky Mtn. National Park if that was your destination. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and stocked with whatever you needed. We cooked most of our meals, so the kitchen was a great help. All in all, a great visit to Grand Lake. Lots of hiking, wildlife, and awesome scenery. I highly recommend the property and the area.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Cozy & a great place to relax, but still convenient to activities & the quaint town of Grand Lake, with plenty of stores, crafts, & good food. Loved the deck, the outside fire ring, & the living room fireplace. Plenty of fishing, boating, & wildlife nearby.

Very cozy and comfortable cabin with peace and quiet all around. Sits just above Shadow Mountain Lake, and you can just see a portion of the lake from the kitchen window and front deck. Master bedroom so comfy - the cabin has all the amenities one needs...really appreciated being able to have my dog with me, this is dog country. Speaking of which - great walking trails and roads to take her for a walk. Cabin is a great location to Grand Lake, as well as Granby - and the views of the mountains were great! Very sweet place to stay, and very reasonably priced. Kate
