This is a recently remodeled 2 bedroom 2 bath condo located on the Old Blue Wailea golf course. It has a BREATHTAKING 180 degree ocean view.
Come and enjoy the awesome view from our lanai (and living/dining rooms)featuring spectacular views of Maui's neighboring islands of Molokini, Lanai and Kahoolawe. Each bedroom has its own private bath and lanai. The living room and each bedroom have vaulted ceilings and air conditioning. Ceiling fans are in every room while louvered windows let in the gentle breezes.
Very clean and well kept with top of the line kitchen utensils. 42-inch flat screen TV with Cable service, stereo, VCR & DVD in living room with high speed internet and Wi-Fi. Each bedroom also has a TV and DVD player. A washer/dryer is available for your convenience, as are an iron and ironing board and hair dryer.
No charge for local, U.S. Mainland and Canada phone service. Electric Bar-B-Que on Lanai and charcoal Bar-B-Que next to building.
You never have to worry about noisy neighbors above you in this second floor unit. Swimming Pool is approximately 75 yards away and the complex is within easy walking distance to 5-star hotels, world class beaches, shopping, tennis and golf.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo
One of the things we enjoy the most while staying at our condo is being able to watch whales playing in the ocean. We also like watching the "parade of boats" each morning heading out to Molokini while we enjoy our breakfast on the lanai. I would be very remiss if I didn't mention the beautiful sunsets from the lanai in the evening and the occasional fireworks display from the Grand Wailea.

My husband and I had been to all the islands. We both love Maui "hands down" above the other islands. That's why we chose to buy our condo on Maui. We searched in the Napili and Kaanapali areas but decided that part of the island was too windy and was wetter than the southern part of the west coast. Kihei was too crowded and dirtier than we liked. We both decided Wailea was the area for us. When we walked into our condo and saw the fabulous ocean views, we knew it was the place for us. It definitely is our home away from home.

From the moment we walked in and saw the Hansgrohe kitchen faucet (we have the same one in our kitchen), we felt completely at home. We very much appreciated the quality of everything in the condo, but most especially the kitchen equipment. Having just come from a condo on Kauai where the kitchen appeared to have been outfitted with garage sale items, we were delighted to find your kitchen so well appointed. Pride of ownership is evident throughout the condo. The view is, of course, what drew me to your condo in the first place and we were not disappointed; your photos are very accurate. We made sure we were “home” on the lanai every afternoon to enjoy the sunset and breeze. We found everything we needed for our daily trips to the beach as well as our day trip to Hana. We had taken one of the coolers for our lunch in Hana by the bay and returned with it full of fresh, cheap produce from their farmer’s market. I also very much appreciate your on island young lady, who came over and got the TV working for our travel companions. Thanks for helping make our time on Maui such a pleasure. We look forward to returning to your condo in the future.

We have stayed at the condo two times in the last 5 years. We had a wonderful time during each of our visits. Really enjoyed eating on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The sunset and sunrise each day are awesome! The condo is very clean, fresh and well maintained. Yes the pictures do the condo justice. Have already recommended this condo to our friends and family. The location is great for anything you want to do while in Maui. Will definitely book this condo on our next visit to Maui. Can't wait.

Gayla and Rich certainly have a gem of a home at Ekolu. We were welcomed by a fruit basket for our 40th wedding anniversary and immediately fell in love with their home and their evident hospitality. They had thought of everything, even basic spices in the kitchen and cooking oil. The view from the lanai ( and windows) is a wide angle view of the islands and ocean over the trees. It was especially fun to watch the clouds and the purple-pink light cast on Molokini every morning at dawn, and then to photograph the sunset in the evening from the lanai !! The general area is quiet and you can walk to the Shops at Wailea and even the beach. The snorkeling in this general area is fantastic and if you are persistent you will see many turtles as well, at the outward edges of the reefs. The owners even had a fish identification guide, video movies and novels available. The condo has easy access to parking and an overall feeling of privacy. We are going back next summer because we know we will feel like we are coming home again… Mahalo Gayla! You are the best!

I have so many wonderful comments regarding my stay, I don’t know where to begin! The condo and its location are top notch. The condo has been beautifully remodeled and is more than functional. Our trip included 6 family members and we were all so comfortable. Our views from inside the condo and from the lanai were amazing. It looked like something out of picture/photo book. Wailea is a terrific location! Every excursion that we wanted to experience was at our fingertips. From exploring many different beaches, attending a Luau, surfing & boogie boarding, scuba diving & snorkeling to visiting the aquarium. With the Maui Revealed book located in the condo we were able to find everything we wanted to see. This vacation was one of my all time favorites. I would recommend this condo and location to anyone. My family can’t wait to go back!

We have been to Maui several times but this was the first time in October. We found out that October is a wonderful time to come to Maui! We plan on coming back many more times and we hope to stay here each time. The sunsets are fabulous and the ocean views are spectacular. The amenities were the best and we had all the comforts of home. The condo was perfect and it was a pleasure working with Rich & Gayla (the owners). You knew it was important to them that we enjoyed our stay. We own a resort in Downieville, CA so we know a jewel when we see one and this is one! NO KA OI!!

We have stayed at this updated condo that was very clean a few times and always enjoyed our stay. This condo has incredible lanai views to watch the sunsets as well as the peaceful ocean (we have even seen the whales from the dining table). It is very nice to start our day by taking a short walk to the local Coffee House in the Shops at Wailea. The kitchen is easy to cook in as it is well appointed (also has the great views) or you can go to one of the many great restaurants so close to the condo. There are two pools in the complex and one is very close. This condo is a perfect place to stay at and relax. We highly recommend this condo.
