Why the Owner Chose North Captiva Island
We decided to purchase land on North Captiva Island and soon build our beach house for many reasons. Along with the beauty and splendor of the island, we found this location to be very family friendly. There are not many places like North Captiva Island where the natural beauty remains untouched. As my 70 year old mother shared with me aftter her visit, "the island renewed her spirit."

My husband and I visited North Captiva Island on May 5, 2001 for the first time. We were taken back by the beauty and spendor of this island. We purchased our lot that very same day and within a year built our home, thus naming it the Cinco de Mayo. Our family has embraced the island and built many wonderful memories over the years.
