“Up the Lake” was built in 2008 with the vacation renter in mind... designed to meet your every need...for those that appreciate quality and don’t want to settle for a sub-standard vacation experience. This completely furnished mountain chalet is located in The Hideout, a four star gated resort community less than two hours away from the tri-state area in the lake region of the Pocono Mountains.
Pack your bags and take a short drive up to this meticulously maintained three bedroom, three and a half bathroom retreat featuring 3300 square feet of living space on three floors with brand new everything! This home provides the ultimate setting for family and friends to enjoy their time together while making some great memories in the Poconos.
This home sleeps up to 10 people comfortably but is not recommended for large groups as a party place. The main living level has an open floor plan. The air-conditioned great room is tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished with vaulted ceilings, brilliant hardwood floors, a romantic gas fireplace and a 42” plasma HD television directly above the mantle.
French doors open to a large cedar deck with a picnic table and a gas BBQ grill. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience and includes all the necessities. The adjacent dining area seats 8 plus another 3 at the breakfast island.
The air conditioned master bedroom suite, also on the first floor, is complete with a king sized log bed and log furniture, 42” plasma HD television and private bathroom with double sinks, shower and Jacuzzi bathtub.
There is also a second bedroom containing two extra long twin beds with pillow top mattresses. A full bathroom is located directly across the hall. The air conditioned, oversized loft bedroom comprises the entire second floor. It has two queen beds, a full private bathroom and a quiet reading area looking over the great room below.
The lower level is the fun level. Down here you will find a spacious family room with comfortable chairs and cozy couches, and, oh yeah ... a 54” LCD HD television with a DVD player and surround sound for that home theater experience.
So don’t forget to bring the movies! What fun would a vacation home be without a game room? Yours comes complete with a pool table, foosball table and an air hockey table. There are also plenty of board games to choose from for interactive family fun. If you can’t be without your laptop - bring it - this house has wireless internet as well.

The Hideout Association Rental Fee ($85 weekend and $110 full week).
