This was a wonderful place to stay. It looks exactly like the photos. It is spotlessly clean, well maintained and Shana and Chris were excellent to work with. It is close to hiking, restaurants and shopping...very easy to get around this area. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Tucson.

We loved our Christmastime vacation at your home - about 17 days. One of the best and longet stay ever. Everything was lovely, clean, well-maintained and well-appointed. We would definitely come back again and would recommend it to friends and relatives. We went to the Fox Theatre and saw the "Nutcracker" and ate at several really great restaurants of which Tucson has a LOT. We did a lot of hiking and walking. One day we went to Bioshpere2. Awesome! The weather was great this time. Other Christmases, it was cool and overcast. Our son and grandson went up to Mt. Lemmon for a day of skiing and had a blast. We even went to an Indian Pow-Wow one afternoon. We bought a lot of our groceries at Trader Joe's and Sunflower. Really loved Sunflower's meat. An awesome time was had by all. Thanks Chris & Shana!

Fantastic home....we really enjoyed our stay. The home was perfect for our family unit...enough space to have a little privacy...but also large enough common areas. The home was meticulously clean. We appreciate that very much. We would definitely book again.

This was our third visit to Oro Valley and our third stay at one of Shana & Chris' rentals. Beautiful, spacious and really well maintained. Very close to local shopping and entertainment. A relaxing and quiet home-base from which we explored southern Arizona and Phoenix. BBQ BY the pool and relaxing on the back deck made this house our home. We will definitely be hoping for a return stay during our next Arizona vacation.

golfers getaway

This is a very nice place to stay as it is close to shopping, sightseeing and, of course, golfing. It is a very cozy home with everything a group could ask for. The price was very reasonable and everyone in the group enjoyed their stay. Maybe, again next year? Who knows? But it will be one of the first places we check out if we return.

The property exceeded my expectations from the photos and description provided. It was very easy to work with Shana to reserve the property and coordinate the stay. The house was clean when we arrived and all things were in working order. This was a much better option then a hotel stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Oro Valley.

Anniversary Weekend in Tucson

My husband and I celebrated our 30 year anniversary along with a few friends in Oro Valley. We had a wonderful time, mainly because of our accomodations. The house was beautiful and welcoming. We truly enjoyed the back patio and pool, where we spent much of the time. We will definitely be back, thank you again!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this house. The location was great and very close to shopping and restaurants. We took many walks through the quiet neighborhood. The salt water pool was great to have for all of us. The house was very clean, nicely decorated, had anything you would need to use in the kitchen and plenty of linens. We loved having dinner seating for eight people. Beds were comfortable. We would all stay again without a second thought!

A great family retreat

This was a great property for a family reunion. The home was welcoming, clean and spacious. The backyard was very restful with the gorgeous mountain views and the relaxing pool and patio. Everything you could possibly want in a home away from home was here at Pioneer. Thanks, Shana!

Great Long Term Rental

My family and I relocated to Tucson and rented the house for close to 6 months. It was perfect. The house is very spacious, tastefully decorated and in a great location. The salt water pool was great we spent a lot of time in it over the summer. It's also in a great location,Oro Valley, and in particular Rancho Vistoso is a fantastic community. It is close to shopping,and Rancho Vistoso has lots of parks and walking trails, and a golf course. Shana and Chris were great anything we needed they were right on top of. They took VERY good care of us while we were there they are great owners and good people. I was very pleased and would highly recommend the house to anyone, for a night or a month you can't go wrong. Thanks Shana and Chris for taking such good care of us.

Having grown up in Tucson, I know all the areas of town. This home is located in my FAVORITE part of Tucson... Oro Valley! Excellent shopping & dining are nearby!! It was a nice quiet neighborhood & the home is perfect for entertaining (we had our son's 6th birthday party here). The pool was great & the backyard was very private. It was definitely a beautiful place to stay with so many amenities!

A Great Place

I have rented off VRBO 3 times now and this house lived up to our expectations and more. Clean, bright, spacious and very comfortable. Owner was very helpful and quick to respond to my questions. We rented this house as a central location for 4 men to cycle for the week. It has a spacious garage, 3 very comfortable queen bedrooms and 1 large King bedroom, again just as their listing mentioned. The house feels much larger then the pictures. For any cyclists looking for a great home base to ride the Oro Valley area and Mt. Lemmon, this is a great house. We had a great week, and I would rent this property again next year.

Very nice place to stay - close to Catalina State Park, tons of walking trails, and shopping! Ours was a short stay, but very relaxing and restful. The home is nice and clean and the backyard was private. You'll feel welcome here.

I just completed a 5 month rental of this property--I couldn't have been more pleased. Shana & Chris are great to rent from, they are considerate and understanding and want the renter to be totally satisfied. The home is very well kept up, clean, BUG_FREE, and everything works. The pool is beautiful and 100% clean. The neighborhood is quiet and very pleasant. I would rent from Shana and Chris again "in-a-heart-beat". Great people. DTB/ Montana
