  This beach house is a little bite of heaven.The website pictures dont show the true charm! We were pleasantly surprized when we opened the door and saw what a beautiful home it really is! all the convienences of home.There are so many nice touches to the place. The Garden is incedible.We saw so many birds......everyday was wonderfull.....the beach and stores are very close by....what more could we ask for? oh yes... did we mention watching the dolphins in the ocean....!!!! We will be back.......again.......

  family with 5 and 2 year old children for one week. it's a beautiful and very clean house and well etablished - the house is comfortable and usefull set uped - it's very much charmed. We could find everything for cooking and playing - there are a lot of games and puzzles. The back yards are big and nice - a lot of flowers grows in the garden. Contact to owners is very good. we received helpful info's "where to go in Santa Cruz"

  Our family of four loved this cottage! The home was in top shape, everything was new and clean. The yard is gorgeous and crawling into a comfy bed after a long day at the beach was such a treat. We loved the close walking access to the uncrowded 26th Ave beach and how quiet it was back at the house. The home is central to both Capitola and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk area. The house binder was full of good info on where to eat and shop. I highly recommend this beach cottage and would definitely go back.

  What a wonderful getaway! The house was perfect for our family. After several searches on the internet, this sounded ideal. The house lived up to every description and expectation. It was fully equipped with every amenity you could possibly need, beautiful garden, close to the beach and Boardwalk. It is the first time we have used VRBO and found the owners very helpful in tailoring our stay. It was a memorable holiday for our kids who immediately found games in the closet, movies they enjoyed, a beautiful beach to wear them out and a comfortable home to land in...and the Boardwalk of course. I cannot say enough about the entire process. I am so happy we stumbled on to this rental! Would love to be there right now!

  An absolutely perfect vacation at the beach! Beautiful home, lovely gardens, peaceful and quiet, great location close to beach and attractions. Karin forwarded her favorite places to eat and play; she made sure we had everything we needed. We hope to return again :-)

  We wanted to take a few moments to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at your home with our young daughters, while we spent time in Santa Cruz and Monterey. It's a warm, cozy home with every amenity we could've needed--down to Irish tea! The bedrooms were perfect with spacious closets. Everything is clean and fresh. You have a beautiful back yard area which is perfect for kids, and the home is a very short walk to the beach. We appreciated the tips of what to see/do/places to eat, especially the ones that fit our particular family needs. I hope our future VRBO experiences are as positive as this one. Many thanks!

  What a delightful and charming find. I would love to keep this a secret, but others should have the opportunity to enjoy this home as much as we did. The location is great, close to the beach, great view of the lagoon and beautiful garden and the owner was very accomodating. We loved the living area which is an open floor plan that includes the living room, dining area and modern kitchen all with large windows that allow the light in and provide the lovely view. The home was spotlessly clean and has wood floors throughout with tile in the bathroom. All linens are supplied and the master bed (the only bed we used) was so comfortable. A patio with umbrella table and chairs is great for morning coffee or meals, but there is an indoor dining table for those colder days. We found the home centrally located and it was perfect if we wanted to go to Capitola or Santa Cruz. There are many restaurants close by or just a short distance away. One very nice feature is the off street parking in the driveway. No worry with permits or finding space to park, especially so close to the beach. We loved our stay, and are already planning when we can return.

  We spent 4 days at this home in Santa Cruz and wish we could have stayed longer! The photos of the home don't do it justice - it's even nicer in person. Right when you walk in you have views of the wonderfully maintained garden from both the living room and kitchen. The home was spotless with plenty of room for us and our kids (a 4 year old and 5 month old). The thoughtful extra touches like the cute fall pumpkins in the back and front yard made it feel more like a home. Nice restaurants were close by, so eating out or bringing food back was very easy. My 4 year old was delighted to find the kids books and games to play with. We enjoyed walking to the 26th ave beach, and checking out the tide pools at the 21st ave beach. The location was ideal to all the places we visited during our stay - an easy drive to the Natural Bridges State Beach, the Boardwalk, Downtown Farmers Market, Roaring Camp Railroad (in Felton), and Capitola. Karin was very helpful with everything, and we would love to stay here again.

  This home was perfect for our family getaway to the Santa Cruz area. My husband and I along with our two children ages 4 and 6 are from Carpinteria, California so we are familiar with the small beach town lifestyle. We felt like we were at home away from home in this cozy beach house. The home was clean and nicely decorated and the garden was beautiful. The extra touches such as ample storage space and luggage racks were a nice touch. It is located just blocks from the beach which was any easy walk for our children so we got the sand and surf time we were looking for. It was also a short drive to attractions including an easy day trip to Monterrey. The home was so inviting that we found ourselves spending the evenings at the house having family dinners and relaxing rather than going out. The kitchen is completely stocked and our kids enjoyed the puzzles and the ocean themed children’s books. We also enjoyed watching the birds at the nearby lagoon. Karin was very helpful with providing recommendations. We would definitely stay here again.

  We (me, my wife and ou 2 daughters) are from Toronto are after a weekend in San Francisco we had a 5 night stay at Karin's house. The house exceeded our expectations! the location was ideal (2mins walk from the beach, 10 drive from Santa Cruz boardwalk and everything else really closed by...) and the quality of the accomodation is fantastic! You can enjoy a quite and relaxing time in the beautiful back yard. The house has everything we needed (particularly as we have a baby), it is well maintained, clean and very cosy. Even if the entertainment system (TV, DVD, CD..) is at its best, we tryed to keep our kids away from it as much as we could and instead played many of the social games available. I strongly recommend this house for anyone looking for a great fully furnished accomodation in the area, regardless the lenght of the stay. We sure will keep this adress in mind for future stay in Santa Cruz! Laurent
